Gotta get caught up on videos. Finally have internet. And thanks to a generator we have power.
I hope you didn't just drill through your roof...
He didn't. There's a gap between the ceiling panels and the roof that's all insulated.
have you ever built a roof? lol, he's about a foot+ away from drilling into air buddy
Don't feel too bad, I've been doing barn restoration/renovation for about 10 years now up in Michigan and when it comes to staircases and railings it's pretty tough to make everything perfect. Nothing is straight or level. You just have to work with what you have and make it look as nice as possible. There's so many angles to deal with when you get into loft situations. Don't get discouraged, it's looking great!
I feel my days as a child building with Lincoln logs would make me an experts 😂
Greetings from central Florida
Living the dream with that cabin.
Log railing is looking good. The round logs, rails, spindles, etc, make it harder to be precise, but the roundness also hides imperfections. Cheers.
I feel like this during every project, but when I come back in a year and look at it again, I don't even notice or remember my mistakes.
Super skoocum!
That hat is baller ;)
Levelish is a good thing! Cabin is looking great!
Makita .... for when the Milwaukee just doesn't cut the mustard ....
I mean. It was an m12 Milwaukee lol.
It takes a brave person to show their work on UA-cam, successes and failures (I saw no failures here!). Nice work, and the extra space as a shelf is perfect!
Put the joint together on the floor and then cut your 12/12, 45° angle on the miter saw with it assembled.
That looks really good Cody although I think I would remove the floorboards and expose that log where the ladder comes up where you had your drill bit set sitting so you can see that part of the log.
You could have just used a hole saw and cut it into the log. It would blend in. Just a thought. Looks awesome. Also you could have used the timberlocks underneath the post.
Hi Cody, Love ya brother....ish is a job saving term for the Proho, not to be over used!!
Talk about the sheriff suspending the 2nd amendment because of "emergency"
What have I been telling you about cops,
shouldn't you leave room for wood movement when you are putting the rail in to the side of the house??
I think it looks great. Nice job. Logs are always a challenge.
Maybe if you connect the hand rail and that third bar you could cut them together at the same time.
looks great but i also had the thought thos screws might have gone thru the roof but i cant remember how think the roof is or if the shingles are on yet, might wana take a look
You look alike Super Mario... ❤😂
Itsa me, wrangler star 😅
Great work Cody, the hats look awesome and ordered one as soon as you guys announced them!
Love the video. Do you know when we will know who won the body armor? Love the video!

The plans of mice and men often go astray..

Perfect is the enemy of good.
Greetings from germany ❤
Can’t wait for my hat to arrive
You should not use that type of cut-in electrical box in the ceiling
Why?
Love that cabin
Good work sir.
Many thanks
@@wranglerstar you can get a molding tool for under $30 depending on size and brand u choose. Theyre worth their weight in gold. It would have worked in a pinch in this situation especially.
Very nice.
It's all about the angle of the dangle....looking sharp.
Looking great!
Shouldn’t you have cut the verticals 2” short so the building can settle?
lol guess I need to watch the full video before I comment.
Star your a minor leaguer trying to play in the Majors...🫣
Your doing everything backwards and Why toe nail a safety rail into the floor instead of mortice and tenon...good grief man...the end post was already cut to length ok just drill down and install a 3 inch by 12 to 16 inch peg (tenon) into floor beam and into poast...do some homework before video time...( If your not there...Become )...🖖
