Appreciate the kind words bro! I used to for a little bit not so much anymore. I have my workflow pretty dialed. I run zone af and use the joystick to move it around as needed then run start and stop on the advanced ring with the cable to record! Do you have the bm5 wr and use the features?
@@ImJasonAnthony ah yeah that is kinda the same way as I operate my fx3 on a gimbal (only have to press rec on the camera because of older sc2 gimbal and not wanting to use the wire). Using the atomos shinobi monitor, but not loving it that much lately, so I was looking at the portkeys or the hollyland mars m1. Was just wondering or you use the camera operating function on the portkeys or not and if so do you like it. But guess it is not the biggest advantage if you dont really use it anymore in that way 😅
Bro I will say I LOVE the Portkeys so much I have 3 of them for all my Sonys. The glass screen looks crispy like an Apple display and BRIGHT outside, I power it off my dtap, all the tools are FULLY customizable from locations on the monitor to multiple opacities, I can have multiple guides on at the same time like 9:16 AND rule of thirds, it can hold 15 luts shit bro tbh I’ve had 4 ninja v’s, freeworld, shinobi 5” & 7” this monitor has been my go to the past year and can’t use anything else.

Great video. What gimbal do you recommend for someone’s first?
Really depends on budget, the DJI ronin RS3/4 pro are great. If it’s too expensive the regular RS2-4 models are awesome too. Just make sure they can hold the payload of your camera/lens combo!
