I miss those years. WRC was in its glory since the debut of WRC cars in the late 90's early 2000's. WRC will never be the same without those drivers and teams.
@@fujimikaido2532 - I value your comment. Colin surely was the most spectacular driver alongside Ari Vatanen. But since this video is about Richard Burns (and Loeb), something should be said: For sure, two British drivers coming up at roughly the same time, media kept comparing Richard to Colin. But that was somewhat unfair. Colin's dad was a 6-times British champion, had all the contacts to teams, manufacturers, etc. When Colin crashed a car, he had a new one the next day. Not to discredit Colin, but he came to the top fast, he learned the limits by going over them, and he ended up being the most spectacular driver and still in control most of the time. Richard's dad for comparison never competed in a rally, he was part of the local (Reading) motor club because he enjoyed rallies as well as the social side. When Richard started competing in the first 3-4 years any single crash would have meant the end of his carrier. That is often overlooked in that comparison, and it is beautiful too, who came from normal human being like you and me backgrounds to the very top of this sport since? Yes, it took Richard longer to get to the top, yes he was less spectacular than Colin, Ari, & Co, but there was a reason for it. Yet he made it, and he was one of the most complete drivers we ever saw. You could send Richard to any rally you wanted, 1000 Lakes, Safari, Richard would deliver. Not even Röhrl or Ogier was/are willing to go everywhere. Or when Richard was criticised that in the Peugeot 206 WRC he never won a rally. That's because Richard always saw the bigger picture and drove with a brain. He may have never won a rally in the 206 in 2003, but he was leading the WRC before he fell ill! Even in his World Championship year he only won one rally. Yes, I too will always enjoy watching the antics of Colin. But if you wanted a driver who regularly bags points wherever you send him and at the same time looks after the car, there was no way round Richard! It is no surprise Safari was his first WRC win, it was also one of his fav rallies, for it had a tactical element, keep the car in one piece, it was the bigger picture, not just having a heavy right foot. And this made Richard unique.

Its clickbait. Crash damaged loeb overtaken by Burns, almost takes Burns out, is what happened here. Think of it this way. What kind of loser Loeb must be, to deliberately block another driver just that little bit, even though he knows his car is damaged & slow ??

Not really a crash as described in the title.
It says "crash Loeb", which is exactly what happened. He crashed. Followed by an onboard of Burns. I think by 'vs' he means '&'.

it gives the impression that they crash into each other. definitely a horseshit title.
