I remember 50 years ago my Mother and I made matching similar sweaters....I was a beginning crocheter. I loved this pattern it was so beautiful when finished...and easy to accomplish. 🤗Not too long ago I was thinking I would love to make the sweater again. I have returned to FLA as a retiree, but live in the northern part of the state...we often have temps in the 30's in the morning. I wish you luck finding your pattern...you never know🤗

Beautiful sweater! I really want to make this. One question: you said to use a multiple of 4, but then you started with a chain of 103. So should I use a multiple of four, plus some number (like maybe 3)? Thank you! ❤
The multiples for the chains is 4+3 but the multiple for the stitches is 4+2. The multiple for the dcs and chains is 4 but the +2 is because you start and end with 2 dc. She chains 103 at the beginning because one chain is the turning chain for the SC row. But she says that you will have 102 SC stitches, so the stitch multiple is 4+2. I would do fsc for the starting row, instead of working a chain. But however you start the base, you want a stitch count of 4+2.
This is adorable! I think I have enough nice sock yarn that could be used for this. I have been looking for a way to use the many skeins I have. I just organized my yarns. No more purchases for me this coming year. I am committed to using what I have, which is way too much LOL.
Its Mary not Carlos I'm using color 941 which is pinks that's why I'm making it one color. I was going to make it striped but the company sent me this pink color instead of the blues and bridges I ordered. I just couldn't wait to get started.
I just started making this with jeans yarn but I want it all one color. My question is do I skip the extra row of double crochet or cut yarn and follow as is?
You should share The links to the yarns that use that way. We don't have to search all over the place to try and find the yarn. It would be very helpful if you did share the links of the yarn

It's a multiple of 4+3 for the chains or a multiple of 4+2 for actual stitches (like if you want to make foundation stitches instead of chains).
