Thank you ❤
You are doing the lords work!
Thank you!!!
This cardigan fit me PERFECTLY and I will use it for future cardigans. the measurments are spot on. You are amazing!
How long did you take make it??
How many skein or rolls of yarn did you use
Hi can anyone tell how many stitches for medium size cardigan or or how many ribbing rows pls ,thnx
I’m still learning to understand the written instructions, how do you make the back panel? 😭😭😭 I just got done with the two front panels and I’m confused on the back! Can anyone dumb it down for me? 🥺😂
Where are you confused! I’ve been working on this for the last month and I just finished my second sleeve! I can possibly assist!
@@austinmartines hii! So I need to start the back panel, im I’m making a size small, how many ribbed rows at the bottom to I need to make? I know for the front panel it was 34ribbed rows, And how many of the fancy stitching do I need to do? ( the SC, HDC,DC)pattern. I hope that made sense 🥲
@@blossom5 start with 10fsc or chain 11 and work single crochet into the second chain from the hook. Do that for 82 rows. 82 stitches across the top of the ribbing, continue with the 82 stitches back and forth for 61 rows.
I love how you teach us to crochet, You always seem patient and slow enough for us to see how to follow you and direction, just want to thank you for being a great teacher, thank you very much, Bonnie
Just finished mine and it was my first wearable! I took off 10 rows from the front and back panels to give it a cropped look that hits right at my hips (size S). Thank you for making this so easy to follow :)
That’s so smart to make it cropped I think I’ll do that too! ❤😂
how many yarns needed to make this???
I have made 3 of these for family. They are easy and look beautiful!! Thanks for easy instructions 😊
How many rolls of yarn did you use?
Hi, you said to divide the sleeves in half to make sure the center of the sleeve is on the shoulder seam…half of 55 is 27.5. Should I aim for 28?
I definitely want to make my grandma something for her birthday and this just gave me the perfect idea . Thanks so much !
Glad you like it! :)
Omg I'm making this for my sister's birthday!
Hi, I'm working on a crochet fall video. Could I use your photo from this video and briefly talk about your video. I would link back to your video so you get traffic and credit. Is that ok? Thanks
How many stitches do have for Xl size 🤔 ❤
st counts for all sizes are on my blog eandpcrochet.com!
I’ve been rewatching this over and over again, doing step by step but my ribbing keeps coming out horizontal rather than vertical and idk what I’m doing wrong
I'm not an expert, but I used to have this same problem. My problem was, I was skipping the first stitch and adding it to the end. My solution was to mark the first and the last stitch in the first row with stitch markers and move them up as I worked the ribbing.
Hi, is it possible to add button/button holes please?
Ok so being a newbie. I saw the inches given for sizes. Does that mean the panel will be that length?? How do know how many rows? And how do you know what width to the back panel since that’s different than the front??
Finally making something for myself 🥰🥰🥰 and i can't believe i am almost done as a somewhat beginner crocheter....thank you for your beautiful tutorial 😍😍😍❤️
Starting this, and writing this to keep me motivated!
Currently on 69 rows of Back panel ribbing!
Currently 26 rows of Back panel!!
Good job keep going!❤
How’s it going? Is it done? Good jobb
@@zulekhashabeer133 I did finish it! I wear it all the time!
I made this and I love it! Very easy to do and put together. Thank you for taking your time and sharing your talent ! God bless
Hi 👋🏼 I was looking for a cardigan to do it for this winter and I saw your video and I’m obsessed with this cardigan so I just started to searching for the patterns but I didn’t find it. Do you have a free pattern for it please please I need one do you have link or something? For this free pattern?🥹🙏🏻
hi! Yes, it's linked in the description! This is The Kiah and can be found free on eandpcrochet.com!
@@EvelynAndPeterCrochet omg, thank you so much 🤍 and sorry for bothering you😅
Do you have this Crochet Pattern in child sizes? Looking to make one for my 5 year old granddaughter.
I’ve finally finished this cardigan, I added button holes as I like to button up sometimes. I must say it’s quite heavy, I haven’t used Aran yarn before, it’s going to be lovely in the winter
Wow Amazing work!! I wish I can make one for me. But I don’t think that I can make it!! Thank you for sharing with us!! Love your work!
Thank you, is so beautiful ❤ was waiting on a cardigan this year to make . Hope it turns out the same 😊 God bless!
Thank you! I'm sure yours will be beautiful! :)
So if I'm making this in 5x (wanted it really oversized since I'm usually a 2x.) Am I still going to follow this same video. I looked at your blog and see the measurements for the sizing but do I still follow the video the same?
OMG THERE ARE POCKETS!! I love this
thank you!!
I finished mine and I love It! Thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
I’m curious, cause it takes me ages to complete anything… but how long did it take you to crochet this whole sweater? I’ve finally finished the back panel (that took me almost 2 days) and took me about a day each on the front panels. I just started on the sleeves and am wondering if this is normal or am I just really slow? lol.
By my standards, you’re killing it! I’ve been working on this for the last month but that’s between having 3 needy dogs, a full time job, many plans and everything else. I just wrapped up my second sleeve and I plan on putting it together tomorrow.
@@austinmartines good on you, yeah I’m unemployed so I have too much time on my hands, so working on getting faster with crochet, but thanks! 🙏🏻 I actually put mine aside after that cause it has just been so hot where I am. All I have left to do is to stitch up the sides and the pockets (my least favorite part-the sewing 😣).
How can I add buttons to it?
Beautiful work. Absolutely love this. I know that for a veteran crocheter this is may be easy. For novice who loves your work, are you able to slow down it a bit? We would not even mind if you do part 1, part 2, part 3 etc. like sleeves, front body and back body?
Merci beaucoup, les explications sont très claires et le cardigan se crochète très vite.
I really don't understand this pattern. It doesn't tell one how many ribbing rows for sleeves, fronts or back for any of the sizes
Çok konusuyorsun anlatirsan ögrenicem nasil ördügünü
Gracias, muy lindo punto y la idea del bolsillo.
do you have any recommendations on how long to leave the tail for stitching the two panels together?
This is so cool I have been looking for an easier pattern using panels. I love sedge stich and have used it for a blanklet.
New subscriber here 👋 lovely pattern. Cardigans are one of my favorites to crochet❤ definitely will make this one.
What's the stitch called?
sedge!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I am in love with this pattern. So glad I found your channel and blog. I will be making this sweater in numerous colors and lengths. Hank you
Can you please post how to do the same cardigan with hoodie... please...
Hi! It's so pretty qns I want to do one! What size is yours for comparison? Thanks! 🥰
I just discovered your channel. I Love it! You’re so sweet and a great teacher. I appreciate your giving sharing nature. Easy for me to follow as a I’m new to crochet! 🌸
Can I use use weight 4 yarn (20% wool and 80% acrylic) for this pattern. I have a bunch that is just sitting in my stash!
Yes! That should be fine, just check gauge! :)
Liked it so much.. thanks.❤
But, how much yarn you needed
I made a small and used about 6 skeins! I do have the 7th just in case!
Muy bello el cardigan🎉
Nuova iscritta, un bacione da Roma, ciaooooo 😉😃
Sweter cudowny wspaniały i piękny szkoda że nie ma polskich napisów do filmu 😢
I just finished this and I LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much for this pattern and tutorial! ❤
Hi, excuse me, how many balls of wool did you use to make the cardigan?
Yes can u please tell

Has anyone altered the pattern to elongate it? I’m making a large and the panels say 61 rows, but I’m contemplating increasing-I’m just not sure what increments. It appears odd numbers. So I’m thinking I’ll do 81? Opinions?
Hii I have a question, can i make the front panel with 40 stitches and back with 88 stitches
Will it fit properly? I am making this for my fiance for his birthday please help🥺🥺
Kanalınızı yeni keşfettim ve abone oldum lütfen Türkçe altyazılı olursa çok sevinirim teşekkürler
Hello, I’d like to know if I’m understanding the pattern. For size XL for the back piece is it 103 stitches and for the front panels is it 43 stitches and the length is it 63 rounds for back and front panels? Please help thank you
hey quick question- on the blog it gives the circumference of the sleeves. I’m making a size medium in very chunky yarn so am following the size lengths other than the number of stitches. it’s all coming along well but i’ve got to the sleeves and have measured the ribbing to the circumference and it’s wayyyy too big. i undid everything and made it to 13 inches instead of 15.5 but it’s still massive. Am i supposed to be measuring from the ribbing? i can’t figure it out 😭
Hooola que belleza de cardigan, hay alguna posibilidad de verlo en español, o con subtitulos en español, gracias
Hi, I purchased the PDF but this is my first time crocheting a cardigan. Can someone help me understand how to read the pattern better? I’m struggling to understand how many stitch across the back panel should be. Thank you!
I have everything I need to start this cardigan. I'm making a swatch so I crocheted 25 FSC and worked row 2 of the main body of the back panel for 12 rows. I must crochet a little tight because 12 rows was a little over 3 inches in the height of the swatch. The width was 7 1/2". My question is if I add a few more rows to make the swatch a 7 1/2 x 7 1/2" square, will that affect my gauge, or should I use a larger hook and crochet another swatch. I know that I have to measure 4" within the square for the gauge. Also, is there enough yarn included in the pattern to make a couple of swatches. I'm just checking before I start this project. I can't wait to get going on this one! I really love your patterns and the instructions and video are great. Thanks so much!
Berapa gr benang yg dibutuhkan?
I’ve been rewatching this over and over again, doing step by step but my ribbing keeps coming out horizontal rather than vertical and idk what I’m doing wrong
Wow! This stitch in #5 yarn would make an incredible coat.
I'm feeling a little bit stupid right now. I'm a 3xl. How many more chains shall I add onto everything while following your video? I've had a brief look at your site but I'm just confused
Can't wait to try this!! Love your patterns!
thanks so much!!! :)
Awesome Rachel! I was just looking for a seriously warm cardigan! You just keep getting better and better ( not to say your previous patterns weren’t great)! Thanks, I’ve never done the sedge stitch! P.S. You’re right, The Heartland Wolf Trap (what an earful name) is gorgeous!
Thank you so much for the compliment!! I really enjoyed making this one!! :)
@@EvelynAndPeterCrochet I been messaging u on Etsy for awhile
Can I have ur email
Please if that’s easier 😊
Finished making all the pieces and getting ready to attach them all..............I made the pocket pieces different BL and I can;t want to get it done!
I am a beginner. Do you think this project would be too hard for me?
Hi. Im a beginner too. And Im working on this cardigan. Now im doin the sleeves. As long as you pay attention on the pattern and the video, you'll be fine.
Hello ....do you speak french 🙏because it’s very very beautiful 😮
Thank you for teaching this pattern 😊
Hi..I would like to crochet the Kiah cardigan. Does anyone know how many stitches to use for the different sizes?
hi! all 9 sizes are on my blog eandpcrochet.com!
Hi. The sizes are there but not the amount of stitches for every size
Plz would you plz explain to me ( for Medium size) how much rows should i work for the back ( i m asking about the little strip at the bottom) thank you
I re-read the instructions and found the "main body" for the gauge swatch in the back panel section of the pattern instructions. I just overlooked it. Sorry for the previous question. Thanks again.
Hi, how much ribbing row for your back panel and front panel too? Please reply. I just couldn't resist the beautiful and gorgeous work of yours. 😇🥰😍😍
Hi! All the row counts for all 9 sizes are written on my blog linked in the description! :)
@@EvelynAndPeterCrochet Thank you for the reply.
Im a bit confused. When you are putting the stitches in the end of each row, should you not have half the amount of rows you did? or are putting a sc in the end, start, end start etc. New crocheter here and don't know the terminology and everything very well yet.
The cardigan looks beautiful!! How many skeins did you use for it?
Hi! How long are the sleeves on the size small? I'm going by measurements rather than by row count as my wool is thinner.
My panel gained an extra bunch of stitches after the pocket chain stitches.... frustrated!
Love this cardigan and your other designs. Do you have any patterns where your sleeves are inset more? I checked your etsy store but didn't see any. I like a more form fitting sleeve instead of a raglan one. thanks , the way your pockets are made is really nice also, better than an outside one. I am going to try making this one it looks so comfortable.
I am almost done with this cardigan. I have been crocheting for about months and it looks just like the one you show. Fantastic instructions!
so glad! This is one of my favorite designs!
It was a lovely pattern with details on it. But can you tell me how much column u have used for back panel for ur size ?
I have a question regarding right side wrong side, does using a foundation chain plus 1 instead of foundation single crochet change the RS?
Hello Rachel, what a great Cardigan, I have to have it. This will be my next project! Thank you Blessings
Thank you! So glad you like it!
Hola saludos desde México Gracias por compartir tu tutorial 😢 pero no lo entiendo por qué 😅 no ablo inglés podrías traducir porf😂avor
Just came upon your channel. Making a cardigan always seemed so intimidating but you made it look so easy! Looking forward to making this. Just subscribed 😊
Please I really need help. I made gage squares to decide the proper hook for my size. I've finished all but the sleeves are very wide. Is there a way to make them smaller a d still fit my other pieces?
Can this be made with size 3 yarn? I love this pattern! I’m a beginner and this looks like something I can handle!
I’m nee to crocheting and I’m a little confused by the “front and back”
11:40 so first row you skipped one ? Second row 2? Then does it go back to 1???? Then 2 ?????
Can someone dumb down the written pattern for the small size, including how many ribbing for back panel
Amei 🥰. Você ensina algum juvenil?
Thankyou so much, this video so usefull ❤ GBU
Thankyou for the wonderful pattern. I made this and it came out really nice.
I've signed up to you and can't seem to get pattern for the back of cardigan please help I'm new to crochet 😢 x
No entiendo en Inglés. Cuantas cadenas pone para comenzar ?
loved this cardigan thanks from germany, berlin, but i do not use acrylics wool. not good for nature😊 if it not fits on my body i can also calculate and measure everthing easily ❤
How much yarn does this pattern need? In yards/grams x
Hi i am from India...love your pattern.can you tell me the thickness of the yarn used as we don't get this brand in India
Oh gosh, received my yarn today, I’ve not done a written pattern before & it all looks a bit daunting but I will take it slow😊
I’m having fun doing this simple and easy pattern! Very cute. This is the second sweater I’ve made from your patterns. I’m wondering if you can come up with a pattern for a sweater using Tunisian crochet so that the weave is tighter and there are no holes in the design. 😁
Hi, I'm having some trouble with the gauge on your website. Can you explain it a little for me please?
Örnek hırka anlatımınızda çok güzel keşke türkçe alt yazı olsa ellerinize emeğinize sağlık selam Türkiye den.
