I wonder if Cleese knew Jones had dementia when he said that? But certainly i hope with all my heart he does rest in peace either way.

i like all of the pythons, looking back when i was younger i probably liked john cleese the most, as he was the most recognisable to me because of other things like fawlty towers. however i do have a growing appreciation for terry gilliam, i definitely think him and his contributions are underlooked for sure

And about time and just in time- otherwise the original audience will all be dead.
I have no doubts that some of the classics will be reproduced with a lot of new extras thrown in. I also have no doubts that pee taking of people of their own (very old) age will be an enormous part of the production. Good to know that some of the show will be put out to television. A short TV series would be most welcome.
As for that very nice Ch4 news reporter who pushed the envelope a little bit- maybe she can put on a show all by herself.
I would love to be able to buy a front seat for this- some chance of course.

he may not have acted in as many sketches, and always got the minor roles...but he was most certainly one of the pythons. he helped write and was one of the main directors. he was always busy doing his animations which is why he didn't have as much screen time. but his presence is clearly there.

Other than that it's great to see they've managed to take the knives out of each others backs long enough to replenish their bank accounts. There's nothing like self-interest to rekindle an old friendship.

      Austin Young
Aww Austin. See, I knew before I got to the end of the first sentence you had to be a lefty. What made it so obvious was the vicious nature of your comments and your stupendous self righteousness. Just to be sure I went to take a look at your YT comments. I knew what I was going to find but I wanted to be certain.
      Here is what I found:
"In order to be a Republican, you have to be a dumbshit. it's required for membership."
"It's important to remember that this dumb, stupid ball sack was elected"
"God she's such a pathetic stupid bitch cunt."
"Wow..what a couple of brain farts there: Bachmann and Colonel Loofa..Her Daddy should have pulled out early and he should have spanked it."
"This draft dodging idiot toolbox couldnt be president of a circle jerk..Fuck him"
"What a pussy..Hey ted wanna discuss how you got out of the Vietnam war by covering yourself in your own feces and pretending to be gay?"
"LOL..what an idiot..People bought into this folksy bullshit and then stood by while he drove this country into a ditch."
"LOL>.I dont hear that stupid B-actor piece of shit warning us about anything. I hear him spouting his usual cock-a mamie- right wing fascist bullshit that's designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator of people."
"This dumbshit is more than likely a child molester. Funny how those ultra-right wing dipshit motherfuckers tend to be just that."
THAT Austin, is YOU. Right there.
Full of sexism, homophobia, misogyny and hate but I bet when you are with your lefty buddies, you and they love to pour scorn on people on the right for being all of those things, while you are doing the same things yourself.
Self righteous hypocrisy oozes out of you and worst of all, you think YOU are the smart one. Dont you? But, sorry to say this buddy, the truth is, you are as a dumb as a rock and you can't see it. You don't even have enough self awareness to know how stupid you really are.
