Quite surprised u done this one actually, what a tune! 👊❤ I would maybe like to see some modern uk/Irish punk on here, so I'm gonna suggest a band called 'The murder capital' and a track called 'when I have fears'.
I really liked your reaction. You should react to more songs, maybe you'll get surprise. Here some songs: - Alien - Northern Lights - Sadness Is Rebellion
I agree what you said on the critique side. Lebanon tends to be repetitive so there aren't too many change of tides in their songs. Still, this song shines really bright when you've been listening to the album, which is more deadpan, darker, and sad. This trademark of Lebanon Hanover makes their songs not fit for everyone, of course. While someome like me could be vibing the hell out of their songs, maybe a more analaytical mind, that can't connect with the song on a subconscious level, won't see the beauty hidden in their music. Anyway, if you're curious about what this band can offer I highly request an album listen on your own. Whichever you prefer. Maybe their last album Sci-Fi Sky, is the best choice for starting. If you, otherwise, would rather create more reactions to them, you could try with "The Moor", for example. Cheers!
You said it well! Not everyone can connect with just any song, and even if that person has the ability to do so maybe the timing is just not right. You can't force feeling.
I agree, the lyrics were repetitive in a way that felt unnecessary for the song to work. I think the lyrics are cool but could have done with more complexity as you said. I love the vibe, production, composition etc. Just less of the repetitive lyrics, structured slightly differently and possibly adding in a bridge or something and it'd be perfect!
