Lone Eagle I completely agree, went to a Clan of Xymox concert recently and crowd was great. Second Still opened, gonna see them again open for this band in April
To be fair they are introverts it's all over their music within lyrics. It doesn't have to necessarily be the case but I don't see why they don't do interviews much other than they may not like it all that much.
как редко бывает чтобы люди не придуривались во время интервью - и как это приятно что они даже на дурацкие вопросы отвечали спокойно и серьезно p.s: вживую намного лучше звучит чем - на этом видео - качество ужас !

DanilloDolci, shes not out of key,you are, i listened to her voice without inztrumentals, shes on key but the quality of sound like the levels were off,so it made her sound that way. ARE YOU A SINGER?
@@alguem9701 I get what you are saying. Larissa chuckles, and William kind of winces after the question is asked. Larissa goes on to say that she was influenced(?) by music from The Smiths (an 80's wave band), and also by early German Wave Music, probably from the eighties, as well. Apologies if I err. That's my take on it.
Just my honest opinion. There's a pretty big difference between his talking voice and his singing voice. He does that particular thing with his cheeks and lips to sound "deeper", and it reminds me of some second wave gothrock singers in the 90's.
Larissa does the same. After their first album, I think Larissa decided to sing her songs with a deeper voice, just like William does. Maybe it's because they think that style of voice fits their music well? In my opinion, though, I don't think William is parodying himself. That's not the intent. Many artists do this.
You're right, it fits their music well. But I noticed it has a different outcome when comparing their studio recordings and their live performances. Things that work exceptionally well in the studio sometimes sound better when slightly toned down live. Still a great band of course :-)
Lebanon Hanover are very self-aware and have a good sense of humour about their depressive personas. Larissa's lyrics in particular have lots of little jokes. She has a song called "Autofocus has ruined quality", ffs
I'm from the city where William is from and also where the band was formed so it's easy for me to hear his northeast England accent. He does speak with a German overtone though maybe it's him being in character? Maybe he has spent a lot of time in Germany, when I lived in Berlin and then returned back to the UK, my friends said that they could detect a bit of a German accent (I spoke in German as much as possible in Berlin).

these goth audiences are great, they actually listen to the music

too depressed to sing
(just a joke)
Sad that this is the only live interview with them you can find on UA-cam.
What? WHY?😢

@@bornfromadam527 They are currently working on a documentary about them and their tours including a big FAQ and Interview.
Lebanon Hanover do have an interview section on their website.
Aaaahh, I want to be in the audience. I love Larissa's frozen expression of disillusionment and dismay.
Larissa smiling? Man, this is awesome, it really is
No1 Mafioso tho ?
Being sad is just an attitude. In her real life, she is laughing the whole day,
@@yesta7375 are your parents cusins??
@@t.paulsson9175 Yes i know that, because i saw a video on youtube where she Is smiling

потный
I was expecting more of an interview, but the live parts are nice.
One of the only interviews on UA-cam I could find thank you
It's cool to fade out the audio if it's the end of a song. Not cool to fade out the audio when it's William talking still lol!
brilliantly simple setup for gigs! Fender guitar and bass guitar, Roland SP404SX as drum machine, Korg Microkorg for synth lines
if they knew how to play, that would be usefull as well IYKWIM
@@danilodolci4869 They are good enough.
Inspired by the smiths and krafwerk! Two excellent sources of inspiration
Amo la primera sonrisa de Larissa
I wish they used the full performances of the songs, I like how they used the straight audio from it
Uśmiechnęła się!
РЕБЯТА просто молодцы!
I always back to this video
they're special for me.
Looking forward to the documentary.

Larissa & William 🖤🌸
People say they like me
But how can I believe
When they also like you
And you're exactly the one I hate
People sometimes say
That I'm quiet creative
But it's so confusing
They say it to you as well
I will stay forever alone
In my deep and dark thoughts
In the corner of the bar
Waiting for a good talk
And at some point you ask me why
I'm the one with the saddest smile
I'm the one with the saddest smile
I might come across
Very disillusioned
But I do crossword searches all night
You're living your lives
Beneath the LCD light
Where real love serves you day by day
The lack of sensitivity in you
Is so ugly
So ugly
It makes you so ugly
So ugly, you're so ugly
So ugly
And I know
I will stay forever alone
In my deep and dark thoughts
In the corner of the bar
Waiting for a good time
And at some point you ask me why
I'm the one with the saddest smile

i'll never believe he's a Brit
Why's that exactly?
He's also English, btw.
Yeah the accent is part of the persona, I am sure. You can hear his English accent behind it, if you tune your listening.

Joy division influences

how terribly out of key is her voice?wat da fak
I thought I was the only one, and I really like they're music
I think thats her thing, many today's bands sing out of key, adds a punkish flair

these guys are pretty consistently bad live, that bass player looks like he could use some more practice lmfao
