Problem is that if they really want to, they can copyright claim your video anyway and claim whatever section they wish as theirs. Its not right, and you are covered, but with this video you kind of just proved to them that they can get away with doing it. I'm worried for you, because whats to stop them from just completely shutting down your channel? I hope for the best for you Pug, good luck.
Well I'm on your side but hopefully as a yter you realise the vast gray area in online stipulations/ coinciding irl legal standards and how they don't apply to traditional laws. Hence your vid getting banned even though in your mind did nothing wrong. Hope this shed some light. In layman's terms life sucks sometimes, the end :/.
@@ryanscott658 Fair use is covered online as well and there is a court case that went over that in favor of the person under Fair use. Look up the legal trouble with H3H3 videos who got taken to court by a guy they did a video over. They won their case. There are some gray areas, but fair use is not one of them. UA-cam just has to follow the 'Safe harbor' laws otherwise they'll be responsible for all the copyrighted content being stolen, which makes it difficult for youtubers to fight back well. However, they are trying at least.
If you want a more current case. UA-cam is sueing a copyright troll, who targeted videos and claimed them as their own and went as far as to attempt extortion from those he claimed over. Its still on going, but so far its looking pretty good.
So, yeah. SirPugger didn't do anything wrong here.
UA-cam put out a video that basically explains that they do not protect people that use fair use and they don't care to deal with copyright claims that use fair use as a reason to remove a notice. Really bad for content creators, fantastic for these guys to flag the hell out of people.

Hey pugger, i noticed a certain LMS bot called "cyandiamond" he plays in world 425 and is currently over rank 4000 on LMS.
He can pray switch based on the weapon his opponent is using and he only attacks with melee and ranged.
The way to beat it is to Mage it with robes and a crossbow equipped so that it prays ranged
I just wanted to bring more awareness to this since I see way too many new people who play last man standing die to this not knowing it's a bot and how to beat it

I went to the GE a few days ago and saw a clear example of what you said. There was 2 bots, one BET one UID. Both standing right on top of each other but one was muted, only 1 was typing. Coincidence they were standing on the exact same spot? Highly doubt it. That was intentional after the one got muted.
I always thought they were hoping someone would trade the wrong player when they were standing on top of eachother.

There was some youtuber with a similar issue with the copy strike. The channel Rekeita Law actually had a way around it and helped that youtuber file a counterclaim and not be exposed. Not sure what they did, but maybe reach out to him, or another lawyer.

I redsecovered the game in the shape of old school rs, i played for 3 months and ejoyed it so much, unitill i got scammed for all my money, i deinstalled the game from all devices and so stoped playing the most enjoyable game the of my childhood , yet an other player gone, still support the channel
I'm glad this got uploaded again. ppl need to know the truth and the bad that shit like this brings into a game we love. tried to find this the original one the other day and couldnt cuz I go into streams on mixer with friends and we talk about all this shit in the video etc. I'm hoping one day there will be a perm solution to getting rid of these gambling bots. As a PMod (as I said in my comment on the original video) I report/mute etc every time I see one and also noticed that these gambling bots now have the owner or some kind of guard with them at all times now usually a low level account with nothing on and randomish users standing in front of the gambling bots not saying anything. usually report them as well as they are prbly apart of the whole gambling system. Also I added you on Osrs Sir Pugger, would be nice to find some bots with ya etc!

They're playing it on their phones lol and trading gp for things since its more stable than anything else they can get hold off secretly

I used to run a dicing clan we had 3 pmods that would mute for us would pay around 20m-100m to mute adverts and hosts for other clans

I was running some stats trying to figure out how much those dicing bots could make, 2 days later this video is recommended to me.
Honestly, they'd still make bank even if they used their advertised odds.
The (20m) threshold for taking the money regardless is an interesting feature, for loss prevention on the behalf of the bot farm owners.
While it would require a decent amount of added complexity rather than just giving flat odds different from advertised, the bots could theoretically store information on the players they've traded with (loss/gain w the bot, total wagered, number of bets, number of wins/losses) and rig the odds to keep people betting more than they would if they had just been burned 75% of the time.
The time it would take to develop would be entirely based on the skill of the script developer, but the actual code needed wouldn't be incredibly difficult to setup, debugging newly implemented database tables just isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Probably would only take a week or two of design and testing before it could be deployed, since they already have most of the important parts of the framework. A dicing bot that feels more fair for the player even if it isn't, of course, that would be unethical. Still better than MTX though.

I always had a feeling those were a straight up scam. Never gave them my gp, but thank you for making this video for those who have been scammed by these bots and people like me that were not sure if they were legit or not.

I remember these bots. Nothing but nuisance. Never touched them, but their bots, or foolish believers, still go and try them.... I've sometimes asked those ppl, if those ppl's reaction was somewhat.... similar to others, or in any way, spoken at similar timeframe?
Don't worry man, I've been going to every single one of these bots (UID, BET, etc.) and reporting them. I've been actively world-hopping to do this, but I might eventually write a bot script that goes through worlds, finds these bots, and reports them.

@@level-III I was kinda just joking, but I had the idea to call them "antibotties". I obviously wouldn't do it on my main account though, just roll up some alts and have them bounce around every world, find anyone with "UID #" or "BET #", and report them for player-run games of chance.

Hey pugger! Back in the day, an old botting service called osbot (might have been a different name back in the day) had a “p mod status” bot. They would log in about every 4 hours, report people for one hour (anyone using . ( 0 m or whatever characters that are illegal to redirect you to websites). My friend was able to make two p mod accounts. We should look into getting another bot like that. Automatically reports gambling, gold selling bots. Would be a crazy way to clean up the community... by botting... lmao
The one thing that turned me off gambling was this line said to me by my granddad. "Remember kiddo, the house ALWAYS wins. Even when you win, they win."

Former RS3 Pmod here and I'd like to state a few things. First of all, the whole buying/selling and renting of Pmod accounts is complete rubbish. Perhaps in the early days of rs2 this was possible, but it definitely isn't possible anymore (assuming the OSRS staff use the same systems RS3 has in place)
At any point if your pmod account connects from an unknown IP address, the account is immediately and automatically locked for 24 hours. A team at Jagex will then review the account and if any inclination exists that the account may have been compromised, the pmod status is revoked immediately and the account remains locked. You're then required to call a support member at Jagex using a phone number they give you upon joining the pmod team. You're also given several confirmation codes that you must then tell to the support member who will then unlock your account. This confirmation also exists in case you move and acquire a new network.
Pmods are also monitored constantly. I don't know the ins and outs of their system as I don't work at Jagex, but an entire team exists solely to monitor player and forum moderators so nonsense like this doesn't happen.
I'm 100% all this rubbish is merely for dramatic effect and all you gullible gary's fell for it.
Did you know? You can hire a 3rd party to act on your behalf to counter these false copyright claims. With this a set of your private information being sent to the person who filed the initial claim, they will instead at receive the information of the person or firm acting on your behalf. This is the same method used by people who smartly collect their lottery winnings by using a trust instead of going in person to hide their personal information from the public

I saw a bot the other day called I REPORT DICERS or something. Every time a dicer spoke he'd say "Username has been reported. Dicers reported: 31"
This is one reason why I quit OSRS - multiple people in multiple CC would be discussing how I'm an idiot for wanting to get these bots banned. They would say they have won 200mil or 2bil from them in order to get people interested. The reason they said it? They're paid to! They get paid off by people to say this shit in game and they go into multiple CC to talk about how awesome the bots are, then they'll relay the info back to the person paying them, so that way the people they told who seem interested will win a decent sum of money and then they'll talk about how they won all this money. I now see bots begging for gp in the GE after logging in one day just to see my old account and how it was holding up, I got bored and decided to fuck with them repeating what they said. Well after confirming they were indeed bots (level 3 female characters pretending to be a girl to get guys to give them free gp), I would trade them and hold them up for several minutes while slowly inserting gold into the trade window. I would even almost trade them to see if they'd react differently, nope but once in a trade window though their program no longer asks for gp so I would keep doing it. Also if you would trade them and run away, they'd chase after you to trade then run back to the specific spot they were just standing at each time. Jagex simply does a shitty job with this shit honestly and after years of multiple incidents with them and myself, I can no longer find joy in playing the game I started playing back in 02 when I was 12. Not to mention the community is filled with toxic fucking kids whose 1 goal is to basically harass people and tell them to go kill themselves (sometimes even trying to drive people to kill themselves by constant harassment via Discord, CC or whispers). It's just not the same as it once was and most of the population is dwindling down to mostly kids and bots. I'm 30 years old and it's just a shit show.
