Nah once bots make it out of tut island and get members they dont get banned for several months or longer. All it takes is going to any red chin spot and you will see 2 bots per world per chin spot, all with 80+ and sometimes past 99 hunter and all the same stats. Some green dragon bots for whatever reason use the bounty hunter world and those ones don't even get banned when everybody gets them as targets.
how do you do anything about it? he just changes IP and starts a new farm. less than 2 t10s pays for a bond, even if each account was banned daily and he had 200 accs, which i kinda doubt, he'd still be making over 100 t10's a day, not counting the tier 1's
Richard Gibbs shouldnt take much resources to check every emblem farming spot everyday and ban the farmers there, literally 15min job with mod powers to teleport around

probably because once the summer hits less people will get bonds because it's not "bad weather" anymore so people will go out more and neglect OSRS. as soon as it's fall again, the weather starts becoming "bad" people will play games more again and will play OSRS more which means more bonds will hit the market because people want a quick buck on OSRS (i love bad weather, nice and cool) supply and demand is such a simple thing. once the summer ends it'll go back to 3m (which if you cant muster 3m every 2 weeks then you should probably look into what you're doing wrong, or get an alt on pure WC which can make 1m a day, with 14 days of membership that means 14m every 2 weeks, which is more than enough to sustain your main and your alt)

I stumbled across this by accident, but I think I figured out how the bots get to wilderness as mentioned at 8:40. The bots hop to a specific world in my case I was on world 304 and then they run up to the wilderness by the lumberyard; however, the world they hop to changes from time to time because at one point I saw that the bots would no longer come by.
Detective Pugger on the case. Honestly, this situation reminds me a Mafia movie: Emblem farmers are the mafia, Jagex is a corrupt police force (Nothing is being done to stop the mafia) and Sir Pugger is a private detective cracking one tough case, at a time. Seriously, kudos to you for bringing such things to the light of day when no one else even seems to worry. The broken, utterly abused PvP system is the reason why I haven't gotten to PK-ing in OSRS :/

Emblem farmer makes more in a day with low lvl accounts than I've ever made in osrs all together in the last 15 years. Let alone if hes selling the gp.. He makes 3 or 4 times my yearly salary... Boys.. Im switchin careers!

Found another hot spot for boots: Mage Training Arena north of the sand casino. Had to do it for diaries and there are boots everywhere. Many with 20+ mage Xp. Not sure how you'd mess with them, but possibly PvP worlds? I didn't check them but who knows. Maybe you can figure setting out.
dropped items appear instantly that would require a fair bit of co-ordination to move trade drop move trade drop move trade drop move trade drop . . . It really was just them messing around learning how they work enough that they can break em.

They're probably "running back" on all different/random worlds. When they log out it randomly picks one to run back on, they currently only need to use the same world while interacting with eachother/fighting. That'd explain why, despite checking many worlds, you weren't able to find some running back, they just happened to be on whatever world you weren't checking at the time. Also, I'm not a big RS player, but I'm glad to see you trying to fight botting yourself, and sharing the information for other people to do the same. It's a problem that affects too many other games too.
Just wanted to say, as of April 30th, the farm is still there. Sad to see how easy it is to bot in this game now a days... Really am starting to think Jagex is getting something out of it somehow. quick explanation- emblems are basically a high risk, high(ish) reward item. Keeping a emblem in your invo means increasing the value you lose on death, but it also means if you kill someone who has a emblem, you will get that emblem, and it will be slightly more valuable. What emblem farmers do is they take advantage of the "gets more valuable after it has been pked" mechanic, and has bots kill other bots, over and over again, effectivly making value from nothing.

how do you do anything about it? he just changes IP and starts a new farm. less than 2 t10s pays for a bond, even if each account was banned daily and he had 200 accs, which i kinda doubt, he'd still be making over 100 t10's a day, not counting the tier 1's

They are probably programmed to pick up Mysterious Emblems, try to lure them with those.

@@ploopploop yeah, the dark green Mortanya robe set and I think a staff of air did the trick. It registered as a huge piece of flax and they tried to pick us. Take em down to the bats and they die. Good times.

Emblem farmer makes more in a day with low lvl accounts than I've ever made in osrs all together in the last 15 years. Let alone if hes selling the gp.. He makes 3 or 4 times my yearly salary... Boys.. Im switchin careers!

Found another hot spot for boots: Mage Training Arena north of the sand casino. Had to do it for diaries and there are boots everywhere. Many with 20+ mage Xp. Not sure how you'd mess with them, but possibly PvP worlds? I didn't check them but who knows. Maybe you can figure setting out.

The reason Jagex hasn’t done anything is because they’re members. They’re making money either way. Lol.
They're probably "running back" on all different/random worlds. When they log out it randomly picks one to run back on, they currently only need to use the same world while interacting with eachother/fighting. That'd explain why, despite checking many worlds, you weren't able to find some running back, they just happened to be on whatever world you weren't checking at the time.
Also, I'm not a big RS player, but I'm glad to see you trying to fight botting yourself, and sharing the information for other people to do the same. It's a problem that affects too many other games too.

Just wanted to say, as of April 30th, the farm is still there. Sad to see how easy it is to bot in this game now a days... Really am starting to think Jagex is getting something out of it somehow. Keep up the great vids Pugger and thank you for helping where Jagex clearly isnt. Genious btw for testing all the different items to see how you could lure them ^^

I havent played this game in years. Have no idea what a Emblem is, and still stayed to watch the whole video. This games hold on me is strong.
quick explanation- emblems are basically a high risk, high(ish) reward item. Keeping a emblem in your invo means increasing the value you lose on death, but it also means if you kill someone who has a emblem, you will get that emblem, and it will be slightly more valuable.
What emblem farmers do is they take advantage of the "gets more valuable after it has been pked" mechanic, and has bots kill other bots, over and over again, effectivly making value from nothing.
This looks to be one of the best and coolest things I've seen all day
