I relate to the age gap question. My boyfriend is 10 years older than me and the amount of questions and judgments I got was ridiculous and they knew literally nothing about him. While we have a decent gap, he is literally the best thing that has ever happened to me and makes me so happy. Age is just a number, and you shouldn' t let it control your life. Just don't be a creep. :)
I would 100% agree with your comments about JD, a British person the context of the show is very different for us because it's not something that we fear or even have to think about in our everyday life. It's still a hard-hitting show of course, but I think maybe less so on the west end because of that.
I love that Sam brought up the importance of having children because you want to and have stability (financially and mentally) not just because your body is able to do so. I’m 19years old in my second year of university, n my family (Greek n Venezuelan) always ask me when I’m going to get married and have kids. It surprises me that it still shocks them every time I say I want to establish myself in this world before I commit to a serious relationship and raiding a human being.
Heathers is seen as fine on the West End. The last school shooting the UK had was Dunblane in 1996. Also thank you for setting the path for Heathers West End we wouldn't have it without you.
I really identified with your age difference, and starting your relationship at 18. I also dealt with the fact that my now husband was from Argentina. (me being from North Dakota) A lot of conversations of having to explain how we met and finding it necessary to always give the back story.
The pregnancy question is awesome! Because as much as I like kids, I could never have a kid as I dont feel comfortable raising them. That question was so beautifully answered!
I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard at Ryan's expression at 'husband'. lol Also my parents are 7 years apart and will be married for 29 years this year. I agree that age doesn't matter (as long as it's legal), it matters about mentality, where the two are in their lives, and how well they communicate with each other.
They're a really cute, cool couple. Good for them. Love samantha, & ryan seems like a smart, good guy too. Bummed to hear about cj & hannah tho! I didn't know that...
It's really sad when women are expected to have kids. My ex pressured me to have kids (we aren't even married yet 🙄) because his parents were asking him for grandkids.
I have family that don't want children but still love kids including her step kids and step grandchild and supporting there wishes is the best thing. Age gaps mean nothing if you don't have an issue in your relationship with the age gap.
i went back to some old videos and i just realized the Matthias and the gramma from sponge-bob drawing in the back and i’ve been dying for five minutes
Also I love the last question sam answered about WHEN bc that is such an expectation of uterus owners. I myself am one and ppl have once expected me to want kids or have them. But as a person. I don’t want em. I don’t want to birth kids or even adopt them. Kids are fine. Just like in small doses. I agree with sam there. Also while I don’t have a huge age gap w my husband. I am 6 months older than him. People always find it hilarious bc I am way way shorter than he is. I’m 4’11 and he is 6’2 ish. Lolol. I’ll pop in like HAHA I HAVE SENIORITY I WIN sometimes and he just laughs. It’s so funny.
I really don't understand the issue of an age gap. My boyfriend and I have a 5-year age gap and we've been together for over 3 years. There's nothing to "make work" because it just does work. Though we started dating when I was 23 and he was 28. Yes, he was older and had "more experience" but so did I in other aspects at a young age compared to him at his point of his life. On another note, Ryan's reaction to the husband comment was hilarious. They've talked about the importance of having the marriage conversation before so it was extra funny to me.
I was hoping there was a question about their opinion on weed, thinking I’d never get one, and was very pleasantly surprised by the first question. ☺️💨🌱🌱
First, when did the hair change? I missed that somehow. Also, as far as age goes, the older you get, the more okay large age gaps become. For example, at 41, it would not be terribly crazy that I'm dating a 28yo. It's all about how you vibe, and if it works, that's all that matters. There will always be people who don't agree with your life choices, and all you need to do is ignore them because it's your life, not theirs.
I totally agree with your statement about kids. I personally really want kids in the future but my own mother actually never wanted children. I was an accidental pregnancy and faced some not-so-nice parenting because she never wanted children in the first place. Do👏not👏have👏children👏if👏you👏don’t👏want👏them👏
I have the same experience that Ryan has... but like as a female. Still feels a little predatory because I’m used to a man being the head of household. Now that the table has turned I would wanna know what the differences may be (?) if any when in a age gap relationship. 😁
Sam prolly dreams about the future and stuff. It's okay girl, even if you didn't mean for that to come out today. Sidenote: I would also like the pomeranians and a sexy husband. And a hampster.
To comment on the 'kids' question. Not only should it not be assumed because someone might not want kids. Someone might not be physically able to have kids and asking that question can be extremely traumatizing.
I didnt even realize sam worked for Hi5, I watch dope or nope all the time, and team edge lol! Also with the kids thing I'm the same way, my plans are college, move to Orlando, get a job and then literally vlog at disney and universal in my time, I'm not going to deal with kids at theme parks 😂
my parents are 12 years apart. they met when my mum was 26 and my dad was 38, and they've told me that at first glance people did assume that it was predatory. i've gone all my life with people pointing out that my dad looks significantly older than my mum, and i've had to explain tha'ts because he IS quite a bit older. however it's never made sense to me why people cared. they're both consenting adults and have been since the beginning of their relationship, their personalities work so well together, and they love each other. why should anyone care enough to dispute that?
I’m 17 and my bf is 20 but like the same thing you guys said it’s a little bit of Im not a typical 17 year old and he’s not a typical 20 year old both our parents know and we’re happy.
The way Ryan FREAKED OUT about Sam saying husband, even though they live together and have been together for a while hahaa! (I get they aren’t ready, no pressure, but just funny that it scared him!)
OMG PREACH on the baby front! We absolutely should normalize not being expected to have kids. That should be the norm. Only people who are excited and ready 100% should be having children because it is so so so difficult. I know for myself that I would never have kids. Were that to ever change, adoption is the only way to go for me, but it is so frustrating that everyone just expects you to have a kid just because you're female. It's so aggravating and we need to stop pestering people.
love you guys so real i am i mom of 4 i was one who never wanted children i was 21 when my first was born and almost 30 when my last was born some thing chance with time you may even want to adopt you never know anyway love you guys 😍😍

Ryan in this vid really said "marriage? im only 27 what am i a child bride??"
Did Ryan's reaction to being called her husband make anyone else sad? 😥 Like, is that not what you want?
I think it's probably just not something they're ready for so her saying it probably just took him by huge surprise.
there’s no expectation to get married ! it’s not a requirement and it doesn’t validate a relationship.
Sam will have kids with 4 legs and fur just like me
I CAN’T WAIT!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thank you guys for being so honest and open about your life and experiences! It’s very refreshing to see that in people on UA-cam/social media.
This is a literal textbook Monica and Chandler relationship
They're a really cute, cool couple. Good for them. Love samantha, & ryan seems like a smart, good guy too. Bummed to hear about cj & hannah tho! I didn't know that...
My parents are seven years apart, and they’ve been “making it work” for over twenty one years.🙃
Same
You guys, I'm really nervous for next week b/c I'm starting my spring semester of college sophomore year
You got this! You are amazing
You are going to do great!!! I believe in you!
You totally got this
I love how you film some vids at Hi5 ❤️
I’m glad Sam said what she said about having children cause I’m in the same boat but for some other reasons 💜
And Ryan. So thank you both
It's really sad when women are expected to have kids. My ex pressured me to have kids (we aren't even married yet 🙄) because his parents were asking him for grandkids.
I LOVE SAMS SHIRT!!!!
The answer Sam gave to the last question, YES GIRL. I hate when people ask me that exact same question.
15:35 - 15:41
Cue Ryan hastily proposing to Sam out of sheer terror
I’m living for the subtle rent reference (boys girls I can’t help it baby) 😂
Hi guys, I am a huge fan. U guys are my idols and I love all ur vids. U guys inspire me every day. Love u guys so much 💖💖💖
I really don't understand the issue of an age gap.
Can someone link me to CJ and Hannah’s socials? Or like what theirs handles are? I can’t find their twitters to see if I am following them already.
I was hoping there was a question about their opinion on weed, thinking I’d never get one, and was very pleasantly surprised by the first question. ☺️💨🌱🌱
Love this! And love the assumption idea!
Do👏not👏have👏children👏if👏you👏don’t👏want👏them👏
I need more videos like this. Like style of videos like this is cool.
What is your favorite type of flooring??
Wow i fund ur channel this week and i love it u guys are so interesting!
Idk why but when I have your videos on the background while I take test I get much better scores
Sam mouthing OMG is everything 😂
I LOVE THE FRIENDS REFERENCE
Great questions guys! I enjoyed that a lot!
Please show us your puppies! They have to be so cuteee! I have a pomeranian at home too and she's the most adorable thing ever
And a hampster.
sam is such a Monica lol...we love it though
not sam calling ryan her sexy husband-
i mean we know he's seggsy, Sam, but um... is there something you two haven't told us
To comment on the 'kids' question. Not only should it not be assumed because someone might not want kids. Someone might not be physically able to have kids and asking that question can be extremely traumatizing.
boys, girls, I can’t help it baby. LOVE the rent reference 😉😉😉
i was gonna go listen to defying gravity but then i saw this 💖💖
I didnt even realize sam worked for Hi5, I watch dope or nope all the time, and team edge lol! Also with the kids thing I'm the same way, my plans are college, move to Orlando, get a job and then literally vlog at disney and universal in my time, I'm not going to deal with kids at theme parks 😂
Sam letting her deepest thoughts slip😂
*posts it early just to tease us*🙄✋
Now I am SO curious who he was with at Disney World.
my parents are 12 years apart. they met when my mum was 26 and my dad was 38, and they've told me that at first glance people did assume that it was predatory. i've gone all my life with people pointing out that my dad looks significantly older than my mum, and i've had to explain tha'ts because he IS quite a bit older. however it's never made sense to me why people cared. they're both consenting adults and have been since the beginning of their relationship, their personalities work so well together, and they love each other. why should anyone care enough to dispute that?
I’m 17 and my bf is 20 but like the same thing you guys said it’s a little bit of Im not a typical 17 year old and he’s not a typical 20 year old both our parents know and we’re happy.
The way Ryan FREAKED OUT about Sam saying husband, even though they live together and have been together for a while hahaa! (I get they aren’t ready, no pressure, but just funny that it scared him!)
“Threatening marriage” 😂
Im sad cuz c
Cj hasnt appeared in a while and now we have confirmation 😭😭😭😭😭
I thought Hannah was working from home soo... still sad tho 😢
Are we just ignoring the backward high five at 0:46 seconds ? 🤣 idk why but now I wanna high-five like that forever
Sam, how about Babysitting? I think you && Ryan would be amazing with that! ^_^
I think Samantha would or is an amazing aunt 😁
