- No real plan here, I've been doing a lot of nightly practice and experimenting with just the B case so I filmed a bit of one. It's had some major sequencing, looping, mixing, and effects changes since the last patch walkthrough. One more piece needs to fall into place and then I'll likely do a longgggg patch from scratch video getting into the weeds.
LIKE. TEARS. IN. RAIN.
I want this walk thru video so bad.
this is absolutely disgusting in the best way possible, i absolutely love it!
Sick 🖤
Sick!
Are the only FX modules here the Versio, Data Bender, and the 200 Grits?
I think this also goes through Shakmat Hipass and Librae Legio before recording, but otherwise yep
Welcome, to the Morphagene plan
Once I got that config txt file right, oooo baby I’m hooked
What's this txt file..?@@thismeanswarbasse
@@kurtisperrie5405 there’s a settings file that lives on the SD card that lets you control the behavior of various features. Most key for me was adjusting how the play input responded to a trigger. I needed it to be always playing and restarting on trigger instead of in the “only play when gate is high and reset to start when low” mode that it was in when I got it
@@thismeanswarbasse oh damn that’s really helpful for me, just got one recently and been struggling with the play not behaving how I want.
what modules you got on deck for this jam, chief? cause this GNARLY
LXR is responsible for all the voicing, but that’s put through cockpit/golden master, data bender, dual 100 grits in a mid/side setup, lots of feedback from matrix mixing, and finally desmodus versio. The 100 grits are doing most of the work to get it gnarly
@@thismeanswarbasse what matrix mixer?
@@drphiI aisynthesis.com/product/ai018-eurorack-stereo-matrix-mixer/ I've got two now (one I DIYed and one prebuilt), I'm hooked on this way of handling sends & returns. Big fan
I see you got the bat verb! How's it treating you?
Extremely fun. I have been really digging turning the size way down and cranking up the regen for these kind of pingy resonant tones off of the drums. Totally different than the starlab reverb I’m used to but in a great way
Do you use compressor for your live?
I’ve got a compressor fairly early in this signal path just because of linking cockpit & golden master together, but I also typically put everything through Shakmat HiPass & Libra Legio on the way out - both of which are in my other case just out of frame here
@@thismeanswarbasse Thanks for sharing. love your music and video.
