Absolutely loved the concept of the levels of Rastafarian food. More and more people are realizing the health benefits of going meat free. ive been a vegetarian all my life, moving towards becoming a vegan (just have to quit yogurt) and trying to fast atleast 1 day a week. I try not to eat anything solid at all. just fluids which is mainly 5-6 glasses of hot water, some buttermilk, some juice or some fruits or raw veggies like cucumber, tomatoes and carrots. Im trying to take this fasting to the next level by eating 1 solid food just once a day. Its amazing how easily you can get rid of so many life style diseases by just changing your diet. Even my vision improved naturally in the last 6 months time. no headaches, no body aches, no muffin top belly, no lethargy. im 47 but dont look a day over 35. The best alternative to gluten food is millets. either whole or using millet flour to make flat breads, use in soups. MIllets are a power house of nutrients compared to wheat flour or rice.
Doesn't matter if you are vegan or carnivore. For every diet there are people that thrive on it. The most important thing is to cut out junk like sugar and processed foods. Fasting is great, you should aim for longer times without any food. It gets easy with pratice.

I did not know anything about this country, my husband will be coming there in two weeks time and probably I will come as well as he is coming because of his work...
I ain't no Jamaican but one thing for sure, there ain't no accent cooler and relaxed as the Jamaican Accent. It just makes you feel at peace when you hear the Rastafarian speaking Jamaican English.
Very nicely done video. I was amazed years ago the first time when I had read that the Rastafaris are vegans/vegetarians. It was a pleasure to finally see this culture. Hope to visit one day!
I really enjoyed watching this video. Learning more about the Rastafarian people!! I just wish the video was longer!
Watching this make me even prouder to be a jamaican
This is by far my favorite food review show and I love how you include places most review shows would never venture to.
This show is an eye opening adventure that I'd love to experience myself!
Thanks Sonny and the crew for properly exploring my country and our delicious cuisine.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
07:10 that Freaking transition Gets me. I'm a Filipino and I Really Love Reggae the rastafarian Practices. Jah rastafari! 🇵🇭❤️🇯🇲
Wow... They are SOOooo healthy! That diet is my dream diet! I can only hope to ever get to the spiritual level a diet like that must give you.. Wow. In our developed countries, organic and tree ripened stuff is non existant. I feel they must feel fresh and powerful all the time
Grew up in the country side of Jamaica, i was never bored and RARELY sick. There was nothing that I couldn't do.
The entire Jamaican diet is predicated on nature. It is recent that they got introduced to McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC, and many other imported artificial flavorings and foods.😕
Simple and nutritious, my favorite country so far! Great job Sonny and team. All the best to the young artist!
I have to say the breakfast he had with the young man looks like some of the most delicious food I've ever seen presented on youtube.
Thank you so much for this video! My husband is Rastafarian, & my journey has led me to it, too. So now we are changing to a Rastafarian diet (with fish), & this is truly inspiring. One love, & Jah bless!
What a beautiful Island, this just takes me to another world of nostalgia
I respect and am thankfull for the honest education and stories you guys share with us, so wholesome, thanks.
As a rastafarian I'm happy to see my culture in display
Hello, I'm sorry if I sound super rude. But I'm really curious about something. I wanted to learn more about ur culture. I noticed in the video, there r no woman anywhere. Is it related to the culture too? I'm so so sorry if I'm being rude asking this question 🙏🏼
I love that they have a rooster because he's just hanging around being part of the family.
I really liked the way they talk, so relaxing to me idk why
"Yea man all natural coming from the earth" 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I loved how he responded to why do they have a rooster if they're not going to eat it 😂 so honest and with so much sense 🙌❤️
Sonny you are making strides and building friendships through food. I love Jamaican food and love the fact you are showing these beautiful people and this wonderful life giving food. Bless up!!
