    Excellent! The fan you replaced was identical to the one in my Sunset Trail. Your video was super helpful.

      Thanks! We realized we needed better ventilation in humid climates. Also, the new fans helped prevent the smoke detector from going off while cooking.

    We have been doing a lot of projects also as we get Cuzin Eddie ready for our summer trip. One of the projects was a fan which was an off brand of a fantastic fan, and it works great. Nice modification! Butch and Becky 😀😀

      Thanks! We didn’t think we really needed to upgrade until we got into some humid climates. When it’s hot and humid (or cold and humid 😄) you really need good ventilation.
      BTW- We love the name of your RV and the name of the channel.

    Does the bathroom fan operate on a switch as well?

    • @TwoTravelingTeachers
      @TwoTravelingTeachers  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes. We adjust the speed and direction we want on the fan and then use the wall switch to turn it on and off.

    Could you comment on which model of this fan you installed?
    Was it the 13.5 or the 16.
    The 90046 is the 16”
    Great video!

      I’m not sure. I have an Amazon link in the video description that will take you to the model of the fan we purchased. It includes dimensions, etc. Thanks for watching.

    We are thinking of buying a F-150 with max towing. (13,800lbs). And a grand design imagine. We also live in Colorado -Highlands Ranch (west side) .. Not far from Castle Rock. We want to travel all around Colorado! And eventually other places in the states. We just wanted to reach out to see how you still felt about having your F-150 and pulling the imagine rv?

      If you have a choice, I would recommend getting a 3/4 ton truck (F250) or 1 ton truck (F350). It will make towing more comfortable and will give you a larger margin of safety. That being said, our F150 has done a good job towing our trailer. The problem with the 1/2 ton trucks is watching the weights. Our F150 has a payload capacity of 1760 lbs, which is more than some. If you're thinking about towing a Grand Design Imagine, stick with the Imagine XLS (extra light series) and check the GVWR (gross weight) for the trailer (found on a sticker on the outside of the trailer and online) and check to see if this weight matches your trucks payload capacity. To do this, calculate 15% of the trailer's GVWR. Subtract this from the payload weight (found in the truck's doorjamb) and that is what you have left for passengers and cargo. If you want to be extra safe, don't exceed 80% of the payload. Typically, half ton trucks will max out payload before maxing out on towing capacity. Bottom line, you can tow with a F150 if you watch the trailer's weight (keep it small).
      I hope this helps.
