I picked up the original Shure s55 from Goodwill online. I don’t hear any audio out of it. Is this the same this looks different than mine. Where did you find the schematics ?

I know I’m coming back to an old video, but I’m sure the reason is obvious. Any concerns over the difference in resistance with a larger gauge wire?

Wonder if you notice that you have to get soooo close to the mic and cranking the volume only makes it more difficult but ! have been told that there is a wiring adjustment ( or rearrange ) that can increase the sensitivity to something close to my handheld Shure mics .( ps run it through my Bose L18 so no gain but don't need it for all other mics just this one ? ) Nice calm vid
