Actually that's just a false rumor from a tumblr post a few years ago. I fact checked it and the voice actors even admitted in the Da Vinci 2015 Interview that ever since their 2nd meeting. Kishimoto explained that he plans for ss to be canon.
Ok, that would mess up the whole story, the whole thing is about their friendship, sakura would become even more useless and the build up story between naruto and hinata would be shattered. Also where do you even get this idea from?

Im ok w sasusaku tho bc unlike naruhina you can deff see the development between them, especially sasunaru, mf chased sasuke throughout shippuden?? wym there's nothing there LMFAOOKWNS they had more chemistry and had a lot of things going on w each other than the rest of thr ships that includes the 4 of them. i swear if one of them is a girl it would be the biggest ship in the show.
