N almost every week i had to go for routine check up .. every second i used to think that my life is going to be finesh.. Hey Shruti, first of all, best of luck for the surgery if you plan to go for it. Its a chhotu surgery, so don't worry 😊. Now the answer to ur ques is , yes there comes a little scar which fades with time. Its size depends upon the depth and location of fibroadenoma. Also any specifiec reason for non-dissolvable stitches? My doc went for them and they worked fine for me.

Hi Dhvani, I know its worrisome but don't panic. Its going to be alright. I had pain too and went to a gynaecologist after 6 months. Get your exams done, best of luck for that and then get an ultrasound done. If you feel the pain is unbearable, a quick visit to the gynaecologist can help you bid your concerns goodbye.

One home remedy you can try - heat salt on pan, put it in a cotton cloth, tie the cloth properly & use it on lumps, Lumps can melt & disappear if you do this every day for a month/s (Just be careful with heat of salt - keep it warm not very strongly heated)

Hi Deshna, The size has increased many times, so its advisable to get it removed surgically. Please get it done in few months only as its increasing but sigh of relief is that you know its fibroadenoma only. Also surgery is for few hours and is posit without being admitted to the hospital. Its a day's procedure and you'll start feeling normal in a week's time.

Not really, mst of the times, there's no pain. Swthrt, no biopsy at first. All you need is a regular ultrasound and if there's no change in your fibroadenoma, then no procedure.

why u want to remove it, if it doesnt hurt, is normal in shape and size, let it be. fibroadenomas are common and ususlly benign , just keep an eye on them. Get your ultrasound done every year.

hi, shadi mein koi dikkat nahi aayegi, kyunki agar surgery hoti bhi hai to bahut chhota sa scar padta hai jisse koi problem ya size bada chhota nahi hota

Non dissolvable stitches are just to ensure no chances for future infection in breast which may occur due to dissolvable stitches he said .

Hi Deshna, The size has increased many times, so its advisable to get it removed surgically. Please get it done in few months only as its increasing but sigh of relief is that you know its fibroadenoma only. Also surgery is for few hours and is posit without being admitted to the hospital. Its a day's procedure and you'll start feeling normal in a week's time.

Not really, mst of the times, there's no pain. Swthrt, no biopsy at first. All you need is a regular ultrasound and if there's no change in your fibroadenoma, then no procedure.

why u want to remove it, if it doesnt hurt, is normal in shape and size, let it be. fibroadenomas are common and ususlly benign , just keep an eye on them. Get your ultrasound done every year.
