I’m sad these trains are about to retire but I knew these were becoming one of the oldest operating Shinkansen trains which is understandable. I’m glad they lasted a little while longer than 20 years.
Now….what about DR.YELLOW’s cousin: *EAST-I* It seems unreal to see DR.YELLOW without his accompanying JR workers that usually are stationed at the monitors.

On zoom, yes I can see a few sparks… not sure why. Maybe imbalances in electric current between the trolley and pantograph?
