It is all attributed to your full efforts to capture the video with different angles. Your patiently waiting for the train schedule under severe cold weather is appreciated that make the video perfect.
Beautiful scenes. Unfortunately you can't see it in Germany because there are no trains when it snows. And not in the rain and not in the sun either. Thank you.
Todays video was interesting got to see Shinkansen high speed bullet trains in snow i.e., heavy snowfall and sprinkling of the water helps to melt the snow as well as gives the Tokaido Shinkansens a very good bath😊 during their temporary slow journey i.e., passing through stations in a caution ⚠ speed😊 but its good for safety during snowfall. Thank you its railway channel and team for your hardwork and dedication during this snowfall in which you captured these high speed movements and moments in your camera always keep up this good work we are all supporting your hard work😊😊😊 keep it up brother.
Astounding & beautiful. I can keep watching it again and again and again, really. We've snow like this in Canada but can't dream of trains like this here, not in our lifetime ! At 16.35 in Urasa, what's the function of water spray, unless its to de-freeze or a train wash. Thank you for being there in cold, for us ~ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The outdoor snow shots are awesome! I assume that they're not going anywhere close to full speed through a station but the swirling snow makes it look so fast. Looking forward to riding one of these.
So happy that India decided to go with Japanese e5 series Shinkansen train set 😊😊😊 Edit:- they are going to arrive and start its operation in late 2025 🎉
And what might you do with them in India? Convert them to food stands? Trains and their infrastructure are a great reflection of a country's culture, conduct, and behavior of people. Shinkansen is efficient, fast, clean, well behaved, respectful. The trains of Europe are bespoke, ill-managed across borders, and range from disgusting to beautiful. The network is impressive but broken. The trains of the U.S. are slow and sparse, but their freight train transport wreaks of pure muscle and can-do attitude. The trains of China arrived late to the game, played fast catch up, but largely remain a mish mash copy of everyone else's stuff. Just like everything else there. Africa: generally missing in participation. And so we arrive in India. How might one characterize the trains and infrastructure of India? Merely importing Japanese tech isn't going to make any difference.
@@cosmojetz2000 what do you think countries like us make their own trains they also import from Germany Siemens Get your facts right India has already have developed their semi high speed trains it’s just not viable for us to start building a technology from a scratch that is already available and Japan is also giving technical assistance to India so that they can build their own high speed trains in future
Thanks for uploading this awesome video in YT, the snow give’s those train’s a far better affect when they pass through the station at high speed., great way of travelling around Japan!🚅
By the way, the water spray you see at Urasa Station is part of the system to keep the trains and tracks reasonably ice-free, since the tracks on this part of the Jōetsu Shinkansen experience some of the highest amount of snowfall in all of Japan.
The Shinkansen is always punctual. It never shifts the blame for delays onto the weather. The mission of the Shinkansen is to safely and accurately deliver people to their destination at the promised time. A promise is only fulfilled when it is kept. For that single purpose, the Shinkansen constantly chases time and continues running today as well.
Thank you. I find the bullet trains very interesting. I live in the US and I remember teachers and my parents discussing the Japanese bullet trains in the 1970’s and how someday we would travel like that. Then the 1980s with the introduction of the French TGV network and that someday we would travel like that. It’s now 2024 and I am in my 50’s and our passenger rail network is a joke. You have to fly everywhere and that’s now in question with Boeing safety issues.
Quanta evolução a rede férrea do Japão! Muito eficiente. Parabéns Japão! Aqui o Brasil estamos ainda dois séculos pra trás 😢! Parabéns pelo vídeo! Muito emocionante ver passando super rápido.
It is noteworthy to note the considerable accomplishments of a country that prioritizes infrastructure investments over military spending. We express our gratitude to Japan for demonstrating the advantages of this approach. Their exemplary approach has shown that investing in infrastructure can lead to a more robust economy, excellent employment opportunities, and a stronger national identity. By prioritizing infrastructure investment, Japan has set an example for other countries to follow in pursuing long-term economic and social progress.
We do have the ICE in Germany, which travels at an average speed of 250 Kmph, but this speed is only reached on some of the routes, on one section of the route and only with a single traction does the ICE manage 300 Kmph, but what is the point if the trains are always late... Deutsche Bahn is pursuing a cost-cutting policy that repeatedly causes chaos in winter. For example, overhead lines and switches freeze, which regularly leads to train cancellations. In winter 2023, more than 64% of all high-speed trains in Germany will be delayed or cancelled. I am always amazed by the Japanese high-speed trains, hopefully the austerity policy at Deutsche Bahn will end soon 🙏

E5系の最高速度は320km/hなのでそれに近い速度は出ていると思います。
The Shinkansen is the only train in the world that has a soul
What is the reason for the sprinkle system in the middle of winter?
Is it hot water? And why doesn't it short out the overhead lines? ( @ 16:25 )
I'm interested in that too
se siente el hielo que avientan los trenes Shinkansen
Hi, thanks! Why do they water the trains? Is it because of ice?
Yes, it is.
And to melt the snow.
Also, in the case of the Tokaido Shinkansen at the end of the video, this is to prevent snow from flying up.
@@Tetsudo_daccha is that pure water? Wouldn't that freeze on the trains later?
Thank you! 🙂
