Camille Co is a designer & content creator who has been creating content since 2011 and has been designing clothes since 2009. The Chinese & Filipino designer had her own line called "Coexist" and has since stopped working on it because she felt like she was spread too thin between other projects. But her knowledge of running her own brands comes through in today's video in a manner that we don't often get to hear about. Her knowledge of importing revolving around tariffs, duties, and other fees was incredibly interesting to see, and she also mixed a wide range of lesser-known luxury brands like PH5 & Rosie Assoulin as well as mainstream brands like Gucci & Burberry. Camille has separate bag and shoe tour videos which I'll have to get into at a later date, but this was certainly enough to whet my appetite.

Pre-rona in a lot of Asian countries, masks were a fashion statement and also for those who don’t are too lazy to put on makeup. There is a sense of mystery that comes with masks, it’s a shield of sorts.
Celebrities would wear them to hide from fans never worked though lol
Yes!!! My friends would wear them for no reason but to cover up a zit next to their mouth.
Yes!! Also for riding motor scooters to protect from the fumes/dust
*East Asia
In DC they started popping up on the metro with the advent of the H1N1, aka bird flu
I recommend painting your nails to help you further break your habit! Whenever I am super anxious I still sometimes pick at the nail polish but overall it keeps me from messing with them since I don't want to mess up the work that went into doing them!
Strong agree. This strategy is great.
Yes I agree! I bought gel nail kits off Amazon / Ebay and these are even better because I can't pick the gel polish off (I found that I peeled off even normal polish when extra anxious)
Yes. I get anxious sometimes and do a bit of nail picking but when my nails are looking all purdy and painted, I leave them alone 'cause messing them up is wrong. Good call 👏👏👏
And SNS is So hard it doesn't chip and looks so good.
Ruins the natural nail tho..but helps break the biting habit.
Regular at home polish worked for me, and it's easy to remove and redo as often as necessary
Yeah i used to bite nails when i would feel anxious...started applying nail paints regularly....its been 1 year i have stopped biting nail... :)
Kryz Uy, Camille Co and Heart Evangelista are not really the crazy rich asians of the Philippines. Maybe Heart to some extent but not that much. They are more like fashion vloggers/influencers. The real crazy rich asians in the Philippines are very discreet but you'd be surprised by how rich they are. They are a whole different elite circle who are not public.
That's why I love them. They are so low-key and very self-aware. They don't like bragging about their expensive stuff.
@@lamoskgr that's how most wealthy people are. One thing I learned about the ridiculous rich is that wealth is not loud, it's subtle.
The actual 1% are very discreet because they don't want to be an easy target for extortion, or worse, taxation.
@@jon8860 or worst - kidnapping.
@@cheong728 Being taxxed, sued, and exposed for embezzlement are much more terrifying for extremely wealthy families. Lol
Sorry but I have to say this: I'm not sure whether BetterHelp should be promoted. Like, from the past scandals and research, they seem unethical. It's already easy to prey on vulnerable people as is, but also on people struggling with mental health issues on top of that? Doesn't sit right with me. I think we try our best to only support ethical fashion and make more responsible choices in regards to our fashion purchases---that same mode of conduct should extend to even online services as well. If the company in question has genuinely changed their ways though, I do welcome anyone to share their own facts based research and their own personal experiences with them down below.
this !!
apparently they used to sell data collected from their users to third-parties 🤢
I don't know if they still do it but honestly for a company dealing with medical data it's just too shady
I know it's hated by a lot of therapists because it severely underpays them
Yes thank you I’ve been commenting since he first stared to promote them that they are a scam but no one seems to care, I even send him a message through Instagram, my guess is that the money is too good for him to care
@@sonmihae-joo6286 not only that, in the terms or services says that is not a replacement for real therapy and that they aren’t responsable for that, when that’s is literally their slogan, they therapist are kinda shady, many people don’t get even one decent session or they report that seems that many different people are responding, and besides that they pay a heavy commission to UA-camrs for every person that subscribes to their services pewdiepie has a really good video about it he went deep
@@boniboni4912 I think the therapists have to hit a certain number of words when doing 'chatting' sessions too, if not they don't get paid at all? Or something along those lines
For someone who does so much research regarding fashion, please do more research when it comes to your sponsors as well.
For the people that want to get help, please do your research. BetterHelp can record your conversations with your therapist and sell the data it collects on you. There is an option to opt out, but you have to opt out, otherwise they'll take the info.
Already that on its own would be such a massive red flag that I would not advice working with them.
Mental health should be dealt with in a safe environment and with trust, even without reading the small letters.
Couldn’t agree more.. they are an extremely problematic company
Yeesh, that is terrible. Thanks for letting us know!

Luke, you have GOT to look into the dark side of betterhelp. It’s hard for me to watch these videos when they’re sponsored by an abusive company…
Most Americans don’t understand the whole mask thing and it has made me crazy the whole pandemic. People think if they wear a mask it protects THEM, it’s the other way around!! Thank you for explaining. And it’s a lovely thing in other cultures to value protecting other people from your illness. It’s something I wish more people could have taken away from this.
I love Camille Co's style! Among the popular Filipino Fashion Influencers, she's the one with the most eclectic taste 💖 As far as I remember, she had to let go of CoExist because she started a furniture business with her husband and a restaurant!
Love your videos, btw! I watch them all the time 💖 Love from the Philippines 💖
Her wardrobe is so fun! You can tell she really loves her clothes.
I like how you just start tolerating scarfs. I get it completely, but I always liked them. I always liked more elegant style, even in high school and uni, and I remember standing out with pencil skirts an 3/4 sleeved blazers and jackets that I would wear with long gloves and scarves. While most kids around me would be in jeans and T-shirts, jumpers at the best, I experimented with different styles. Now I stick to elegant basics, adding in fashion items (only those I really like), but a good scarf and other accessories somehow always stayed with me. I always get compliments that I am well dressed, and no one ever said "but why the hell you are wearing this scarf" :)
I learned to not hang knits the hard way after finding two beautiful jersey dresses on sale. The hems sat a centimetre above the floor with shoes on, but after a few months of hanging I was tripping over them. I put them aside (for two years) to hem, but now I use a wheelchair, so the extra length doesn't matter so much!
Knits don't generally permanently stretch. Sometimes steam (depending on fiber content) will snap them back. Otherwise, just letting them "rest" like you did should do the trick
I just wanna say, pre-covid my koreaboo high school self was soooo jealous of all the cute masks that were socially acceptable to wear in Asia. I had bought some and my best friend told me she loves me but it's too cringy to wear out😭 Post-covid, I got compliments on them lol
#Violett874 it's not Post-Covid and it probably won't be for a while yet. Now we also j have a heavy duty flu plus bad respiratory disease. Most hospitals are very busy with these. Wear a mask. Test when you need to.
This is the content I'm stuck on right now. I need this. This is my betterhelp moment. Just to hear Luke talk about fashion in an articulate, intellectual way. Honestly, he is gold and not enough people realize it.
you should watch bliss foster if you dont already!!
@@yaelw5986 yes thank you! I enjoy his content aswell. I also like Jenny Mustard, but something about creators like Luke and Karen of 'thebritchick' that just speaks to my inner New Yorker.
Followed Camille Co for a long time especially in college 2007-2011 and a little beyond at the peak of the blogger fame. Shes come a long way such a beauty and the fashion game has never waned
I follow Camille for almost 4 years now and seeing people react her and her closet and liking her is really making me happy 💞💕💖💕💞💓💕
Enjoyed this too! I think you’d like her bag closet tour (the original one, not the updated bag collection). She talks about the stories behind almost all her bags there. I think her collection is quite interesting, it’s not the usual Chanel/ Gucci/ LV bag collection that most influencers have.
Luke is rocking the Cookie Monster chic today
I remember commenting that you should react to her NY fashion week looks from 2019! Of all the PH influencers in her circle of influencer friends, she’s definitely the most out there and fun stylist.
Now you need to react to her old closet tour and shoe collection. I'm still obsessed
I like how you are very respectful towards Asian fashion girls and understand how different fashion is in each country
Love your jumper
Oh my goshhhh. Thank you for sharing this light! I love her. Not just because she's Pinay but like, she's so much fun.
I’ve learned so much from you, you’re unbelievably amazing 🥰
I ❤ this video!! It’s was so enjoyable & fun to watch & well rounded fashion girly share her closet with us. Love how she displays & lays everything out. The jean draw is heaven!!! She’s lovely 😃
You should react again to Heart Evangelista she has made in-depth videos abt her bag and shoe collection 💕
He has ~
he already did one
Luke felt so chilled out in this video, very calm energy and I enjoyed it before bed
Your sweater is so calming. Obsessed.
Her overall closet aesthetic has total anthro sale room vibes (but with much pricier pieces, obvs).
So excited!
hey luke, you're totally right about the mask thing in asia! they weren't uncommon at all pre-covid here so i guess mask wearing isn't seen as a super big deal :)
Love your observations, comments and humor. ❤️
Love these closet tour review videos
I actually like your concept of organizing your clothes by brand. That’s unique and I feel that it would help guide which brands I like to curate in my closet. Thanks for the tip even if it wasn’t one haha.
I think it's a peculiar idea. Organising by style, then colour, allows me to understand what gaps I have in my wardrobe and what I have too much of and need to stop buying (white blouses!!).
BEEN WAITING FOR THISSS
I love Camille so much and really appreciate that you like her in that video. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I feel so represented seeing a person with a closet like that who fills it with mostly tshirts...
AAAH! I love the sweater!! I low key want one,,, where did you get it? Love the vids!!
I don’t know what is says about me that every time I see that Vogue has a new 7days, 7 looks video my first thought is ‘what does Luke think?’ but I’m not mad about it 😂😊
Ahhh i remember suggesting this on your reacting to Kryz video. THE CROSSOVER I HOPED FOR OMG I KNEW U WOULD LOVE HER!! Check out her New York Fashion Week videos too!! 😍😍
masks in asia are quite common, like my country who has almost the same population size and maaybe mobility has had less cases than US because we're used to masks. not only for getting sick and still having to go to the office but also when there's a volcanic eruption (which happens every nonth *somewhere*) and you dont want to inhale pyroclastic elements
OMG I love Camille. You should also react to her shoes. The girl can dress!!!
I like how she color coordinates everything.
FYI Rotate is owned by Birger Christensen, an old Danish extinguished (and famous) furrier company, now clothing company, that used to be an official supplier to The Danish Royal Court.
I have a Rotate dress and I didn’t even know that, thanks
This closet went through a purge recently since they are moving to new house. So there are items that you see here are already gone. And yes, Camille really has a bubbly personality. She is besties with Kryz Uy!
Camille Co is one of my favorite fashion influencer, she the best😊
I NEED your sweater!!!
finally a new video dropped
Would love to see your closet and bags 👍🏼
never heard of her but I loved this! :)
Watch her fashion week episode in New York and Europe. Her OOTDs are spectacular!
I bit my nails since I was little and managed to stop bitting recently, though I still put my nails in my mouth. I found that having a filer on hand at ALL TIMES helped immensely. If I felt my attention being drawn to my nail, worrying/picking at them with fingers, I'd whip out my filer. Its the only method that worked with me. That and I also made sure to rub the tips of my finger against my palm to clean underneath my nails.
I/my mother had tried putting nail polishes on (from pretty ones to special nasty tasting one) to putting gel nails and fake nails.
Nothing worked until I started carrying a filer on my person at all times.
You should watch her bag collection. It’s super worth it!
Please do an updated closet tour when she uploads from her new home.
I once had a nail biting situation. I worked very hard to stop. I found that putting beautiful nail polish on my nails really helped me. Just a thought.
omg never been this early!
Love you!
me going to snatch all my knits out my closet rn😫😫😫 what would i do without you
another Filipina represent!!! ❤️
Simply fun and beautiful!
Luke, I would like to see your closet tour! I bet you have very special pieces.

Back in the day i too used to arrange my clothes by colour. It's easier to style that way.

They’ve been selling UV reactive clothes for a couple of years, at least! I have a pair of their UV reactive pants and I would highly recommend. So cool.
She spelled rotate wrong. Danish brand. But I let her because she is so cute.
