To help with Riki stealing the Ledios set From Demon King Dragonia, you can equip Talent Boost gems (increases Talent Gauge gain from, but halves the damage dealt by auto-attacks), which will fill the Talent Gauge much faster.
One thing to note: The second High End Medium gear is the Rafaga Armor. Its the same deal with the Hierax/Rondin sets, as Rafaga seems to have more physical defense while Lancelot has the higher Aether defence. Though it appears that some pieces of the Lancelot Armor are outright better then some of the Rafaga pieces. Another thing to keep an eye at is the Gloria-Gear, dropped from the Superbosses. The handpieces have a Haste VI (45) gem inside themselves, which is the only way to get such a Gem socketed in your armor (Haste gems are usually weapon gems) freeing up a weapon gem slot.
Slotted Ledios plate can be gotten from Invited Slobos after doing the giants treasure quests. Slotted Ledios cuisses are from Exposure Wolfol Check the wiki for more info
Light Armor is the only armor worth using in this game. If agility wasn't so important Medium and Heavy armor would matter but since weight is tied to agility there is really no reason to use medium or heavy because even if the character doesn't use agility for most of their attacks (Melia, as an example because she uses mostly ether) they don't actually benefit from more physical defense that much given how hard the superbosses in this game hit. Better to just dodge the attacks. Plus light armor has naturally higher ether defense, which are attacks you can't block or dodge anyways...so yeah.
Shulk and Dunban have skills that lower armor weight (20 in total if you link everything), so you can have 4 weight per armor piece (which means you can equip pretty much any armor with 0 final weight).
@@lowlevelmonadoboy8402 Yeah there's that. You need lots of skill links to make medium and heavier armors effective, though. If affinity coins are at a premium this probably isn't the way to go since there are much more important skill link abilities...
@@veteran0121 the best light armor setup has the worst total defense out of all the armor sets. Lancelot with glory gauntlets beats both the best light and the best heavy armor sets. Its 15 affinity coins to reduce the lancelots weight to zero, and its even less on dunban and shulk.

I have a video on the gems already. I am still having a bit of trouble finding all the equipment in the game. Most of the fashion equipment can be found through the time trials and through future connected.
Here's a tip I found out. Cosmetics get unlocked for all files when you purchase them. You can save, buy all the armor you want, reload, and the cosmetics will be unlocked free of charge.
Just so you know you don't have to fight the spider to get the Dystopia. The Silver Gorillas in Satori Marsh. I got it during the Nic's Final Training. The Sun Staff was found same place as Dunbans and Ryan's. The comit biter was found in Bionis Leg can't remember what enemy though
I would also skill link shulks " glorious Future" (Bravery Skill tree 5th skill) Skill to riki which enables talent arts after a vision it can toss you some extra uses for the King Dragonia farm ( or be really cheeky to farm a certain superboss for nightvision V cylinders hehehe)
@@nextlevelgaming0x I dont know if u gonna go in depth into Gem crafting / effect guides but that would certainly be a thing you could mention ;) u dont know how many hours i have siphoned into farming for stuff like debuff resist/unbeatable/divine protect/spike defense (although i have been playing on dolphin with a HD pack (i had a file before the DE came out (also yes i do own a wii aswell as a copy of that game it just runs smoother and is more pleasing on the eye))) and how much easier they can make fights on the superbosses (if not even just enable to have a chance on them at all)
actually, you can find the Hierax and the Rondine head gears at the bionis leg too. The Hierax Cap drop from the Royal Caterpillar, and the rondine Cap can be found in the same area too (dont know the ecxact monster anymore)
Hey my dude, I love the guide, but I wanted to let you know of a small error I found. The monsters you said had the Light armor boots (Rondine and Heirax) are flipped. The flami drop the Rondine, and the Arachnos drop the Heirax. Just wanted to pass that along.

Surprised the hell out of me cuz I'm watching your video while fighting in there 😂. Edit: I'm pretty sure the percent chance of getting it is lower but it is good to keep in mind if you want Dunban at his best when fighting the next bosses
I just copied Enels build which he runs attack stability to help increase the min damage. I didn’t play her much but conviction blades are also a good choice.

Please, don't put attack plus and especially not attack stability on dystopia, or seven's blade in general. When fully optimized, conviction blades are slightly stronger thanks to the 5% extra crit chance. Please don't make me have to repost all my calculus here but basically fiora : high attack (and ether stat) but very low weapon power, therefore her weapon power matters much less than for other characters.

Only RPG i ever played where gear sets DONT matter at all. Every video i have watched is people recommending a mix of only 1-2 pieces of a gear from a set, creating a hodge podge only because 1 or 2 pieces is good for a character. I guess im just use in RPGs having gear sets that give you extra benefits when you complete a set. Like you would think that a full set of the titan set with its high defense and resists would be the best for reyn, nope....its a mix of other sets. Also, what's the point of coloring gear if that doesn't really matter? Color on the name of the gear in the rpgs i play as well usually mean rarity and power...not in xenoblade.

If that can make you feel better, Heavy Armor is pretty bad in general in this game because weight is too much of an issue for any physical based character and you usually don't want to be dedicating more than one skill link in reducing weight. If you really want to equip Heavy armor, the Rex set is as good if not better anyway for its reduced weight and more than decent ether def.
Dystopia is actually not the best weapon for Fiora. There is one with the same min damage and 95 less max damage but significantly more crit rate and block rate. I forgot the name
I assume you are talking about Conviction Blades? 280-480 10% crit 3 slot Dystopia 340-385 15% crit 25 def 50 Edef 10 block rate3 slot Conviction Blades So lets be honest, the defenses and block rate are kind of pointless with how much damage the superbosses deal, and 7 isn't usually played as a tank anyways. Throw an attack stability 6 on both. Dystopia becomes 420-480 10% crit 2 slots Conviction Blades becomes 385-385 15% crit 2 slots. This is because the weapon cannot go over its max amount of damage, wasting 125 "min damage" With this you lose 35 minimum damage and 95 maximum damage, for +5% crit rate by using CB over Dys. Throw an attack plus 6 on both Dystopia becomes 280-720 10% crit 2 slots Conviction Blades becomes 340-577.5 (i assume this is rounded up to 578). In this case with using CB over Dys you gain 60 min attack and 5% crit, but lose 142 max attack. Throwing both on is usually not that great, because Back Attack is a bigger increase (2x damage instead of +50%) leaving either Topple Up for yet another bigger damage increase(2x dmg again) in a topple lock party, Topple Plus to make Final Cross's topple even better, Night Vision for consistent hits outside of a topple lock party, etc. What this means in total is that a Stability gem in CB is useless, and putting an Attack Plus into CB makes it somewhat consitent but still overall weaker than Dystopia, as Dystopia hitting a max damage roll in the damage range will still be more common than a crit,do about the same damage on a regular hit, AND has a chance to crit on top of it. Meteor Staff on Melia is also better than the Sun Staff for similar reasons, though not quite as intense (only a difference of +50/75 max vs 95/142) and the defensive boost to Melia is a lot more noticable due to her wearing weaker armor.

FYI you don't have to farm monsters for slotted Rondine equipment, you can just buy from Colony 6 Shop 9 with Commerce and Housing Lv5

Conviction Blades becomes 340-577.5 (i assume this is rounded up to 578). In this case with using CB over Dys you gain 60 min attack and 5% crit, but lose 142 max attack.
Throwing both on is usually not that great, because Back Attack is a bigger increase (2x damage instead of +50%) leaving either Topple Up for yet another bigger damage increase(2x dmg again) in a topple lock party, Topple Plus to make Final Cross's topple even better, Night Vision for consistent hits outside of a topple lock party, etc.
What this means in total is that a Stability gem in CB is useless, and putting an Attack Plus into CB makes it somewhat consitent but still overall weaker than Dystopia, as Dystopia hitting a max damage roll in the damage range will still be more common than a crit,do about the same damage on a regular hit, AND has a chance to crit on top of it.
Meteor Staff on Melia is also better than the Sun Staff for similar reasons, though not quite as intense (only a difference of +50/75 max vs 95/142) and the defensive boost to Melia is a lot more noticable due to her wearing weaker armor.
