- This video compares the Sig P365 X-Macro versus the Glock 48. Both guns are very close in size and weight. The Sig X Macro offers unrivaled capacity in terms of micro-compacts. The Macro also has a compensated slide, Sig Sauer's X-Ray sights, excellent sand paper style grip, and awesome aesthetics. Its make one wonder if the G48 even stands a chance. Glock offers the best in terms of reliability, a really low bore axis, excellent ergonomics, and 15 round capacity when using shield arms magazines. You may be surprised by the outcome.

Went from a 43, to a p365x, to a p365 Spectre, to a x macro Spectre, ending up with the 48 mos. Every generation/year of sig would have insane rust issues with every metal part of the gun. From slide, barrel, sight, magazine, trigger, and FCU, the p365 will rust. I shoot better with the 48 mos and don’t have any QC issues compared to any of the SIG’s.

My edc is a 48. I HATE Glock triggers, but I LOVE the fact that it'll work every single time. And not give me a new outer thigh tattoo that I don't want.

I heard the PSA micro dagger magazines run better than shield arms and are cheaper.
Tried them both for my 43x and have had issues. If you want to make your Glock less reliable than a hipoint then go for it
Macro all day this should not even be a questions.
It’s amazing to me that people can sit here and really argue that the Glock 48 is even in the same realm as a Sig P365 macro

I’ll take Glock reliability any-day over Sig. Funny how everyone loves those little Sigs but they carry Glock. Likewise all of my Sigs stay in the safe. Sig x-ray sights, btw, are horrible, just like Glock plastic sights. Which ever gun you choose, get rid of the sights and go Trijicon HD U notch. Great video.

Sig Xray sights are only bad because the tritium is known to pop out or crack just from recoil. It happened to me. It’s a common issue.
XS sights and AmeriGlo for me!
I love the xRay sights. Super accurate for me. But like you mentioned, I had mine pop out last week on me. Had to send back to Sig. Quick turnaround, but come on.

I owed the P365 XMacro for a moment and sold it. I will say it’s a nice shooting gun, even though it was a pain loading those mags to full capacity.

Shield arms now have plus 2 base plates for the S15 mags for 17+1 and it doesn't add much to printing.

I switched from Glocks years ago in favor of the 365. SIG gives me what I need out of the box. I always have to upgrade Glocks. I shoot the 365 more naturally. If I was to get another gun I would look at the 365 Tac ops. Comes with 4 17 round mags and no compensator. Just a good set up for me
but I heard you have to modify the trigger though

Glock reliability over Sig gimmicks. Sure the Sig holds more rounds, but that’s just more rounds that could possibly end up in your leg/ass/family jewels. The 320 ruined their reputation, and you’re right, something like that can’t ever be undone. That being said, I do have a 226 and a 229, and I love them. But any of their “newer” stuff? Nah, no thanks.
And I will NOT ever carry a freakin’ sig appendix pointing at my transmission…

Sig uses Combat or center hold. Most Glocks use Target or center bisect hold. I if you were slightly high, I'm guessing you used the some hold as Glock on both. Both are good, it's just preference. As I recall, Capacity is better on Sig X-Macro- 17 + 1 vs. 10 + 1 on the Glock 48.
My macro has a manual safety
They sell them with and with out safeties.

I love Glocks, but it's hard to make the case for how the 43X/48 is better than the Macro. SIG has better trigger, better capacity, better takedown, better sights, and more ergonomic for most people. If anything these two guns are much better than anything from S&W though.
Great point, the Sig is much more feature rich and better looking aesthetically. But to be honest, those things didn’t give it any measurable advantage when I shot the two side by side. That’s was me though, others may have different results.

I prefer the Glock 48 myself. Just not a fan of the gigantic grip, comp and rust issues.

Sig has been having QC issues lately. I have both, but I gravitate towards the G48 MOS.
Xmacro is by far the better. Not even close!

Shield arms mags are trash and I dont know why anyone would recommend them. They have such a high failure rate everyone is already talking about replacing them. At best you might get a few good months out of them.
The PSA micro dagger 15 round mags have been working great in my Glock 48. I think they're less expensive than the shield arms mags as well FWIW.
Funny, seeing all of these Glock fanboys talk about aftermarket magazines, but then turn around and talk about glock reliability when those aftermarket magazines are trash. I have a Glock I love my Glock but the sig is way better.
