Thanks to your videos i visited China as a tourist for the first time in February!! I went to Shanghai, spent 5 days...my goodness i wished i booked a whole 3 weeks!! There was so much to do, the metro was fantastic! Easily the best in the world, i absolutely loved it. The people are especially kind and very funny...i think i haggled over an hour at the fabric shop ...became friends with the owner...they knew i wasnt gonna quit! I am already planning another trip back, maybe this time take the metro to beijing. Btw, the visa process was NOT easy...they made me jump hoops...but totally worth it

I visited Chongqing for the first time in my life. It was one of the 12 cities I traveled to during my 30 days China travel from August to September in 2023. Knowing the difficult geographical challenges and the huge number of residents, I was amazed at how the Chinese government, local and central, was able to effectively overcome all the infrastructural matters that include housing, transportation, water and electricity, sewage treatments, etc. I truly believe no other government on Earth can handle the challenges.
BTW, a common element shared by people who lived in all the cities I visited was that they all seem to enjoy a peaceful and orderly civilized life. I don't mind to spend the rest of my life living in China. [The places I visited were Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Changsha, Zhangjiajie, Feng Huang Gucheng, Tongren, Guiyang, Chengdu, Chongqing, Jinhua, Wuzhen, and then back to Shanghai for my return flight. Hi speed train was my mode of inter-connect transportation. No delay in any of my train travel. AWESOME experience!]
Whoever wants to understand anything about Russia and China must necessarily avoid any western media, information center or experts. Buy a ticket, fly to these places and find out for yourself.

When has China attacked another country? Try Vietnam in 1979 and continual threats to Taiwan. I hope you both are comfortable when you travel home to the US. I am an American 80 years old just came back from China spend the month of may amazing friendly clean great subway and train system my wife is Chinese and show me around many towns was never on a tour always by ourself and I could tell the Chinese people welcome me taking pictures with kids a lot of fun hope to go back again

I’ve been living in China for many years , you are doing the country justice , thank’s . Many of my family and friends in the USA just do not seem to get it ( believe me ) when I tell them what a great country China is , how great the people are and how the Government is always helpful if I have needs , I’ll add this , the police in China are there to help and protect. If you need assistance you can walk up o a police officer and ask for help , they will not feel threatened and be more than happy to assist.

Exactly, last year, my American husband was afraid to travel to China because of the level 3 state warnings. Once we were there, everything was fine, and he had a great time. 😅 We visited Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.

I traveled by my self around GuangZhou, LiuZhou, Laibin, Nanning, ChongZuo, FangCheng, and DongXing. It was safe, clean, many tasty food, and so beautiful during the spring. The best is the transportation. I can get to any city or any parks around China on public buses, and train. China roads mostly has side walk and parks every where. I went out to the parks at night to join them dancing and singing. It is like going to the party in the parks everyday or night. My 2 months trips got to meet lots of people and eat many tasty dishes. Can't wait to come back soon.

I couldn’t get over my Chinese colleagues, whom I worked with for the last 10 years, ALL retired back to China, from Australia and they have lived and worked here in Australia, for at least 30 years, but ALL went ‘home’ to retire?

It amazes me that amid all the chaos in the world, especially in the West, that life is so positive in China. Of course, the weather has been devastating in some areas, but the recoveries are so controlled and well managed.

He actually was in Donbass way before the Russian military operation, as his wife was from there, so he was already infoeming about the 8 year long war, i.e. Ukraine's war in their own citizens in East Ukraine -Donbass Region. And before that he also was in other region's conflicts. He is admirable!!

Keep up the good work, Cyrus. I just got back from China for 2 month trip. Nothing like the way the main media stated. I traveled by my self around GuangZhou, LiuZhou, Laibin, Nanning, ChongZuo, FangCheng, and DongXing. It was safe, clean, many tasty food, and so beautiful during the spring. The best is the transportation. I can get to any city or any parks around China on public buses, and train. China roads mostly has side walk and parks every where. I went out to the parks at night to join them dancing and singing. It is like going to the party in the parks everyday or night. My 2 months trips got to meet lots of people and eat many tasty dishes. Can't wait to come back soon.
