Might be helpful if you identified to towns of these homes. Having been born in Pocantico Hills I am familiar with both Kykuit and Lyndhurst as well as Boscobel in Garrison but not so much the others.

No - far too much cash needed to keep any of them going ! And they are all far too big to be comfortable ! You can only sit in one chair at a time !
The Payne Mansion should definitely be on this list!
