Just Knate, you gave that man so much more than what money could buy. You gave him your time. You can't put a price on that. I love you Just Knate! That man will never forget how you made him feel. Most people would just turn their head. You gave him your time, conversation and most importantly now he knows there are people that really do care. That was genuine love that I witnessed in this video. 😢❤❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Knate gave of himself - not just the much needed supplies.
And yes, Guitar Chris is grateful for the supplies, and those will go with time - but he will never forget how Knate made him feel, treating him like a valued human.

I wish I had the ability to open a place for the homeless to shower, shave, use the restroom and do laundry. You have no idea of the confidence boost that gives people. It goes a long way in helping them find employment and become stable. I would even personally clean the toilets.

As a disabled veteran since 1981, & homeless likely longer than you have been alive, I cannot remember how long it has been since I have been able to clean up. I do not believe you or the owner of this UA-cam channel, help anyone, but yourselves.
Do not ask for my belief, as our beliefs are not important, as pretended:
"Each and every time that humans speak, our thoughts are simultaneously BROADCAST in a much richer way than can be fit into words."
No belief included, I simply remember before being taught verbal language, mama and dada.
Learn the language of our newborns & you learn to care about each other just as you care about yourselves.

If you want to spoil someone with a guitar, take their instrument to a music shop to get some packs of strings and picks (ask them if the player if they have a preferred size for both - and I recommend coated strings which will help extent the string life a bit from rust/wear), and get a thick padded guitar bag with backpack straps to protect the guitar from the elements. If you really want to spoil them, get a basic setup on the guitar so the shop can adjust the string action to make sure the strings are easy to press down and make sure the neck is straight (they’ll often even teach the person how to adjust their own truss rod in the neck themselves. . . and the tool is a few bucks extra). Any guitar player would deeply appreciate that you’re making it easier to play and protect their beloved instrument. I’m a guitar player myself, and if I were homeless, that’s one of the first things I’d want someone to do for me, but I’d be too embarrassed to ask because music doesn’t seem like a necessity to some people - I assure you it’s this guy’s music 8:30 therapy to help him cope with life, and he might even earn a few bucks from people from his playing too.

Hi Nate, I just wanted to thank you for going out of your way the way you do to reach out and help folks. Where I live in northern Vermont when I was a young boy I had people in my family that were extremely violent and raging alcoholic that would black out in a weekly basis and the home is just not a safe place to be for anyone let alone an 8-9-10 year old boy, I would go down to the local railroad tracks and hang out with the train cars and raccoons. I volunteered to do Street outreach the last 10 or 15 years and while it does depress me to see people destroying themselves one of the best feelings I've ever felt in my life is reaching out to someone that I know appreciates it and seeing and feeling the human reciprocation of just basic camaraderie and helping one another which is lost on a lot of our society. It's obvious to me that there's a huge need for folks like you

The sad truth of what happens to military when they become damaged. 😢 when you are so proud of someone for joining the military you need to make sure you are willing to be there for whatever returns. If it's not in a body bag it's going to be severely mentally traumatized.
Thank you Knate for being an AMAZING HUMAN 😇

Thanks for introducing us to Chris, Knate. I loved his curiosity about life becoming the rocks - his interest in music and guitar - his brief tragic story about meeting his girlfriend by being the one who cut her down from death by hanging (unless I misunderstood).
My favorite - his true smile at the end when you tell him you love him back 🥰 and you can tell he knows you mean it.
You're a good human Knate, and you show us how it's done - thank you!
