The inverse affect of getting used to the grip that Squamish slabs has is when you live here and then go ride anywhere else, you forget you cant just go super slow on slabs and almost die
Man, this actually DOES look steep in the GoPro, so that means this shit is PROPERLY freaking steep! Too steep for me! You guys are Killin it. Nice work 🤘🏼
Yeah when it's steep on GoPro you know it's crazy in person ... Windrock and this stand out as two of the steeper trails I remember.
Punch: Dave’s never late.
Counterpunch: it sounded bad and looked so much worse.
Watch us ride more Pro-Lines: ua-cam.com/video/A9Exmrv9nK8/v-deo.html
I'll only subscribe, if he does ;-)
I need to see this in writing ;)
"It didn't sound great, and when we could see you it looked so much worse" hahahaha
your confidence levels look like they are improving but your skill is well above how you approach your riding. Keep pushing, you're crazy good mate! Also handy to have some incredible riders to learn from.
the trail is EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL...
Man, I was puckered up the whole time just watching this video. Impressive.
Can't wait to see the video. Squamish is legendary
Slow steep tech is what scares me the most. I can nail it down some rocky UK peak district descents but basically a rabbit in headlights on this kind of terrain . Hats off to you 👏
Sick! SO stocked to see the Three MTBuskateers shred some really tough tech. Great runs, boys! I see the original footage of that 'toilet bowl' section was included, awesome to see a few angles of that. Nic, a lil more time in Squamish and you will ride these trails with the same level of comfortability as D&D! Probably should have asked to borrow a Norco, Nic! Lol! Shred on, Fellas, Shred on!!
They are most technical trails I’ve seen, fair play to you all👌
What a crew ..... feel like I've had a day out watching this. Awesome !
Dale has such confidence on the Squamish granite with the grippiness of his new bike.
Any time I look at GoPro footage and think, that looks freaking intense, I know it's way worse than that. Great job riding!
Thanks Robert!
All three of my favourite MTB youtubers in the same video! Thanks for posting, Nic:)
"I'm gonna go much slower...because I'm a little baby"
I felt that 😆
Nice riding bro. You and the crew. Watching this makes these trails look very enticing. I’m intrigued by the need to pay attention to the details these trails seem to require. I dig it. Keep it up.
Can’t wait for this to release
amazing video mate. love a long ride with dale
You guys make it look all so easy. Great video as always!
Sweet, Nic! Another ripper, excited to see you shred!
I worked (servicing bikes) for a few years with a guy who was also nicknamed "Young David," I'm a big fan of this coincidence - thanks!
Way beyond my skills. Well done guys! An epic ride and beautiful trails!
with this content you should be bigger than Skills with Phil, Matt Jones, and Berm Peak combined.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing. Downhill rock face nose wheelies looking straight up terrifying.
The best place to ride in the world!!
So well ridden! Dale looked very confident on his new bike!
Heading to Squamish in July. Thanks for a list of all the trails that are too hard for me. :P
after seeing those lines from your perspective it really shows just how completely bonkers the lines are that some some of the pro's take through there, either way insane that you guys can ride that and not get completely worked.
Great trail, is good to see a more normal guy riding that technical beast 👍
Great riding man! That was some hardcore stuff!
Saved the best for last... Sounded and looked like your front slipped out. Nice save! Pheeew
That’s insane - I give you credit for hanging in with them . Btw is that grizzly territory?
Fair play. Amazing skills all round. My butt was clenching sat on my sofa!
Awesome riding and great video
Thanks for posting! So gnarly I'm coming soon for a rip!
I'm seriously thinking of moving to BC (from quebec) so I can enjoy the mountains all year long. My friend is actually living in squamish! Awesome video :)
The Knolly looks and sounds like it's treating you well!!
Nicely done! Almost like a "Fine Arts" Film.
Lucky you have so much grip there. Must take the fear out of it once you get used to it. Cool vid
Love the vids keep it up :)
soo cool! 🤙🏽 thx for sharing 👊🏽
Sick riding guys!…🤟
Nice to see Nick. Not Out of his comfort zone but Being challenged a bit like he sed riding in north van is a whole lot different then riding in Squamish And at 14:04 Nice save for beginners who just riding MTB for the first time make a note of this turning on wet roots is a big no no and always look ahead at when you are going never look down at the trail because before you know that you’ll be getting a lot closer to the The trail than you think
Solid crew!
$1.5m average house price, definitely gonna need that pro sponsorship money!
Great EDit SicK trails,and riding!
Man I can't wait to get back here!
That was a solid effort.
Great place for riders to grow 🤘
Can't wait for in my favourite town that os Squamish.
Incredible talent and skills
I'm considering going to Squamish in September but haven't found much information about the best time to visit to go mountain biking. Weather information I've found is temps range from mid 40s to mid 60s and it rains 17 days out of the month. Any recommendations on when the best time is to visit Squamish? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
17:42 Quebec City also has pretty awesome slabs
Si vous avez la chance d’aller rouler sur la chaine cotière, le sentier à 17:42 est Penthouse.
wild ride!
Gloveless Gouranga for the increased hand feel I see. 📈
No glove gang
That was awesome!
great vid. squamish is cool
Is that one run from top to bottom? Sick trails, lookin good.
Well, you did a lot better on those trails then I tend to do. :)
Just curious, what metrics do you have displayed on your Wahoo? Great video btw! :)
That fork though
📉
so rad
Brooooo. Dave's nose wheelie corner!
That last section...I recognize it I think. Though Remy is usually in the air for most of it.
Remy has a video of the same trail, first minute is pretty much identical
Class🔥💯
Yeah PicNic! Get it buddy! :D \m/
Hey man, Nice channel youv'e built up! I am an avid mountain biker in alberta, but the only time I've biked in BC was at kicking horse (Loved it, but pricey).
If i were to make it to BC for only ONE TRIP this summer, where would you recommend? (Maybe give me a resort option and a free option)
Whistler. Or anywhere in the sea to sky
Nick! question for you!
After selling you DH bike, do you think that with how good and capable long travel bikes are such as the chilcotin or norco range or transition spire etc etc, is it really all that necessary to have a dual crown fork unless you're racing at a high level? It seems like the stiffness you get out of a zeb or a fox 38 is plenty to be the occasional weekend racer vs spending literally $2000 on a dual crown fork and potentially a new wheelset.
I like DH bikes a lot but my Chilcotin feels like it’s 90% of the way there.
so nice!
Epic ride. Holy shit
Let's Goooo 🤘🔥
audio is awesome.. do you mind sharing the set-up you are using?
Biggest thing is stereo only. Plus add some wind covers over the mics
@@VanCan thanks a lot. 🙏🏻
@@VanCan what model of gopro? if you don't mind...
Is your handlebar really 800mm wide ? It looks so narrow and I love it. Im playing with the idea of getting a narrow one as well. Im rocking 800mm atm and it feels like a chopper handle bar
780 on my bike
so per chance, if you fell off while on one of those super steep slabs..... road rash the whole way down or?
The Real UA-camrs of Squamish, premiering this fall...
Insane......
what cycling computer are you using on your bars?
Wahoo element
Epic
Doesn't Dale use a power meter on his cranks?
What fender do ya have on the front?
RRP
Yo Vancan! Is there a reason you went back to shimano brakes from the TRPs? I’m a larger rider and am in the market for the strongest brakes I can find.
Stock! Hopefully I get some trps soon
What cranks were those?
5dev
What is the hooting noise in the background. I always hear it on hikes and bike rides. My buddy says it’s grouse but I’m not sold
Sasquatch
To fix the fork being stuck, you just need to take off the lowers and then remove the air spring, it will take a lot of force because there will be a lot of air in the negative air chamber. Then put it back in and inflate the air side to like 40psi or smth. Then put the lowers back on. ua-cam.com/video/MQBsrTpwoCo/v-deo.html this is a video of how to do it
What are the names of these trails?
second the request
awsume
Is makes me cringe every time I see Dale riding without knee pads 😳
Oh come on …whats way worse is that they are not protecting their spines ..Head/Spine/Eyes ..those are the 3 most important
Protecting your spine is so easy …just get a protector backpack ..you always need some stuff anyways like tools etc ..those backpacks are small and lightweight
Just don't fall. Easy.
@@ProTuner06 same.. I wear a full face helmet and gloves.. I feel like all the other pads restrict movement so it feels even more dangerous
3 amazing riders, I think I should be taken out there by helicopter, because you can't even carry the bike down there
No..... just, NO!
Thanks, I'm good
😳
thbe camera is so dark
Turn up your brightness 🔆
@@VanCan ayyy love your videos man and sorry for the bad spelling
