- Back to the Traffic Unit this time with Deputy Isaac Stutes on swing shift. Deputy Stutes came to the Sheriff's Department as a lateral and has definitely enjoyed his time with us. RIDE ALONG with deputy Stutes and see how he likes to patrol the county to help recover stolen property.

These officers are amazing. The woman being pursued gave a master class in everything to do if you want to be arrested and charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors.

I love the stop sticks at the beginning of the stop. A lot of high speed chases could be avoided if every department did this.
you cant just pull out stop sticks at every stop and this was an unusual one where he could see that she could possibly be under the influence before making contact with her. nonetheless a lot of high speed chases happen because the criminal is not willing to stop.

@@jordanalbano9780 However you need to compare the cost to the cost that a chase incurs (things like damages police cars, damages streets/signs, other damaged cars, etc.). It is probably cheaper to pay for one of these sticks then to pay for the repair costs of a police car

My baby brother is a highway patrolman for Kingston County, his wife is a 911 dispatcher, I have heard how tough his job is, keep up the good work Pierce County sheriff's and local Police Officers.

This is my community. I am so happy to be able to watch your ride along videos. So very many of the community residents have been disappointed and frustrated since 2020. It’s very reassuring to see our police force doing what they need to do to help out the community again. It has gotten so bad with high crime rate and drugs nowadays. Born and raised in Tacoma/Pierce county and it’s quite fun watching this and just noticing so many landmarks and even houses! My oldest goes to school just a few blocks from where this happened, same road just different direction. Glad this did not take place in front of the school

Sheriffs Departments should use green and white colors for their patrol vehicles,either with a green stripe on a white vehicle or green vehicles with a White doors and top. City Police Departments should use blue and white colors in either a blue,stripe on a white vehicle or deep Royal or Navy blue vehicle with white doors and top. CHP should use Black and White vehicle like they have for decades. Some CHP units are all white,and a black stripe could be added to those units,unless CHP use those unites for low profile units meant to be hard to be spotted to easy? The purpose for different color scemes for different types of Police and Sheriiffs vehicles and CHP units. Would make it easier for police officers especially air patrol like helicopters keeping track of vehicles leading CHP,Sheriff’s units and City Police involved in the same chase or any other operation involving Sheriffs units,CHP and City Police units from the air by the vehicle color sceme.

in all honesty, all police officers, that have stop sticks and pull somebody over or are conducting a traffic stop/investigation on a vehicle being operated, should put said stop sticks both in front and behind said stopped vehicle while conducting said stop. but that's just me
