this was surprising. All of the other reviews I have seen were raving about how good the food was and how great the character interactions were. Hopefully you guys just hit them on an off night. I will say that the video that you shot showed a much messier buffet area than I've seen in other reviews.

We always enjoyed Crystal Palace and Cape May...we may hit it one time just for the experience...
I was here seven years ago with my daughter when the characters were Mary poppins, the mad hatter and Alice. We went for breakfast and it was the best. I’m not a dvc member, but we go to Disney once a year.

I don't really like how it's basically just one big room now. The old layout seemed more intimate
Classic Panda - "It's not bad, It's not horrible" Sounded like Chef Mickey's - loud and lousy food although I didn't think the characters were great there either and that was in the early 2000s. I had friends who LOVED the high tea back in the day. That's a sad commentary on this restaurant. Side note to Paul - our boys met Aladdin at CRT in 2002 when they were 4 and 3. He was incredible and when asked about Abu, he told them all about how Abu had misbehaved at breakfast by eating all the pancakes and she had to banish him from the castle. You would have LOVED it because I sure did - Aladdin is one of my favorite characters too. For non face characters, I prefer Garden Grill and Crystal Palace - both for breakfast. Less money, great interaction, and food which is better than average.
Haven't been in years. Love Mary Poppins characters. ❤️ 🌂 Food was good. Calmer than Chef Mickey's. 😊
We were there before the closing - maybe in the remodel they removed items that helped dampen the sound. It was not like that when we were there!

I feel like if you want a good dinner buffet with characters Crystal Palace is a great option. I would personally not do 1900 again.
Crystal Palace, yes! Different Characters, but a great location right in the Magi Kingdom!
Really did not look appetizing as you scanned the buffet. Back in the day all those spills would not have been left there

The first thing I thought when you were showing the buffet, is that it looks empty. So many near empty items. It was nice to hear from Jeff's Amy. She's a nice addition to your show! I think we will skip this restaurant. I will stick with Boma!
This is about the first negative review I’ve seen.

I just CANNOT accept an “off night” at an expensive restaurant at Disney where I will pay $550 for dinner for 4 adults and 2 kids. It’s ridiculous to accept that product. I really don’t like when I hear people say “maybe they had an off night “. If it’s an off night we, the guest , should be compensated or credited something at least if not the entire charge. Or if it’s truly a night off, give a credit to come back another time. Guests should not continue to be conditioned to accept Disney has an “off night” yet we still have to pay full price for a substandard product. If that’s the case make it right.
Agree completely with your comment, I honestly would be talking to someone if I was at this dinner it’s pretty inexcusable for the price that you are paying
