Thanks for the tour. It would be awesome to see the single story. I think Riviera’s grand villa is way better looking and very open. This 2-story one looks like it would be really cramped with lots of people. But you can’t beat the location.
They have grand villa tours that are one story just not updated since the remodel. And completely agree with you Riviera’s 3 bedroom grand villa far surpasses this one. I never stayed but toured it. It does cost far more points though.
Can’t decide if I like the remodel. I do feel like they shortchanged the resort. Boardwalk is an amazing theme & Disney could’ve made it way better. That being said possibly I’ll change my mind once I see it in person. The bedroom with the Juliet balcony doesn’t have privacy. A little shocked there is no curtain to close. Thanks for the tour!
I’d love to see a Disney steampunk hotel. I think the imagineers would love to theme it, I can see all the characters in Victorian steampunk for some reason. I think I’ll stick with OKW but this is a nice place, just too small a kitchen and pointless balcony. Thanks for the tour
Thanks for this video!!!! I have always wanted to see this 2 story unit at the BWV. How does the square footage compare to the 2 story grand villa at BLT? BLT does have a much better kitchen (that kitchen is too small for a grand villa) Views are fabulous. Crazy small laundry room for a grand villa. We travel as a large family and need the bigger kitchen and laundry.
The Romeo and Juliet balcony was very common in larger homes in the 90s so parents could hear, communicate and keep an eye on kids or visitors downstairs. This was considered a luxury add on for new homes. The stains and scuff marks I blame on visitors. How do people live? 🤣Stain looks like grease from a kids hand and scuff from wheels of a suitcase.🙄 Madness to keep up with.
That is so not a Grand Villa kitchen! Was shocked and would not be happy in that. Really had no idea there was a two story Boardwalk grand villa. Really do like the art work in the villa though!
It appears, maybe, everything they do now is second or third rate? Am I being too negative? It costs a lot to go to Disney and now it looks like it would feel too much like a rip off.
That kitchen is shocking 😳
I absolutely love the decor in this villa!!

Excellent video, thanks for the tour.
I wonder what most people liked better, the two story or the single story?

Agree! That was my first thought! Seems like any light from the living room would be annoying if you wanted to sleep earlier than other guests!

As a BWV DVC owner I love the location but the rooms are not near as nice as the other resorts we’ve stayed at.
