Ok. I need to be that guy. The challenge is the resort. You can’t say one and then eat at the others. That’s like saying I love my Saratoga., and you can walk to the springs and get anything you want. This all must be at the chosen resort only. This is why….and I can’t believe I’m saying this…Derek is correct.
Honorable mention to wilderness lodge ? And maybe boardwalk 10 years ago before everything closed and became a courtyard Marriott cafe.

I'm with you. Doing more stays with my husband nowadays where we don't spend much time in the Parks and I tend to think of what is literally in the building. So for me, AKL and Riviera are the tops. If I don't mind walking up to 10 minutes, then yes, Boardwalk resorts and Saratoga Springs make sense for us also.

Hands down number 1 DVC resort for dining is Grand Floridian. The video talked about a lot of the offerings at the Grand Floridian however, didn’t say anything about 1900 park fair, the second pool bar, and being the only resort on Disney property to have in room dining.

Yall had me in stitches watching this 😂 Agree with Grand Floridian and that was my vote for all the same reasons Derek had. My number 2 is Animal Kingdom Lodge. This episode was great! I have not tried Grand Floridian Cafe yet but now I have to see if it’s as bad as it sounds lol 😂

We just put an offer in for a resale at Boardwalk following this after pondering on our home resort since retuning back to the UK last month, great video guys. PS we also requested Derek as our preferred sales partner. This will be our first DVC contract if all competes an we are mega excited, love all your content.

Wilderness lodge has so much to offer. Character dining I believe Story Book gives Topolinos a good match. Roaring fork is good quick service Geyser Point is also good. Whispering canyon is always a fun time and I think you can throw in Hoop-tie do Review to it as well.

I'm with Jeff. I love the Crescent Lake area, next time you should combine Boardwalk / Beach Club / Yacht Club :) Grand Floridian is great too, but I'd rather stay and dine in the Crescent Lake area. BTW- Take me with you for the V&A dining review! :D

Behind Trader Sams, Enchanted Rose is our fav bar at a DVC on property. AKL and Poly have the best dining options all the way around, and I would rank GF higher but it is very pricey for the average family.

When there’s a somewhat consensus choice at #1 it’s more valuable to know people’s top 3-5. They mostly tried to do this with “for the sake of the show I’ll choose something else” but a future format of top-3 might be good.

When I’ve stayed at Saratoga, I would walk to Disney springs because the food options are “SMH” worthy. I agree with Amy; Grand Californian should have gotten more love. Napa Rose’s Chef Experience is amazing. You can walk to downtown Disney to get Italian(Napoli), Mexican (just opened), good Burgers, good craft beers, New Orleans style food at jazz kitchen including beignets, and soon to come Cuban style food at Porto’s. If you’re from the east coast and haven’t tried Porto’s, when you get a chance you’re going to love it. Their deserts are great. And of course Earl of Sandwich.

Grand Floridian has the most but like the offerings at Riviera the best at WDW. It has very good food choices and not spread out. However just made a trip to Aulani and was so amazed at the food choices that were all excellent! Even the counter service had really yummy food offerings for dinner!

I agree with Panda regarding dining at Riviera, but disagree regarding Saratoga Springs....the breakfast at The Artist's Palette has always been great! Lunch & dinner is not so great, but my daughter loves the pepperoni pizza! And Disney Springs is right there! I also agree with the poll....Animal Kingdom lodge has amazing dining options!

The criteria of the food at the resort only mattering is wrong. If I was advising someone on where to stay for easy access to amazing dining options, and that was their priority, SSR is the clear winner due to the proximity to DS.

Boardwalk has to little options right now. With big river grill closed, The corn dogs stand closed and the cake bake shop still not opened it falls very flat. And I own at the boardwalk so I love the resort.
The draw is also using yacht, beach and swalophin resorts plus Epcot.
Once those other restaurants open up, boardwalk would be a serious contender.

Never understood the great eating at Disney aspect, I get it you got to eat and you're hungry, like you don't go to a nice restaurant and look for rides and I don't go to the theme park looking for great out of this world food...there's just no competition with the plenty of great restaurants in my big city hometown.

I agree that Grand Californian and Aulani don’t get the love they deserve! As a west coast DVC members those two are highly underrated.
I typically leave the parks to eat at the grand Californian. Craftsman’s Bar & Grill is my favorite restaurant on property hands down!!! Also the Disney Princess Character dining at Napa Rose is by far the best character dining you can find anywhere. The food is amazing, the character interactions are the best, it’s very small and intimate and they truly make you feel like a princess. DGC reminds me of old school Disney with the amazing customer service and experience. Plus as Amy said you are so close to Downtown Disney and they are putting so many new great places to eat there.

the WL dvc should b higher, Geyser has bison burger. had the meatballs from Cap Cooks at Poly and wasn't impressed, Ohana wasn't good either. AKL has Boma and Jiko, not that impressed w quick service and the bread at Sanaa didn't seem as good last time. Boardwalk does have FF which had a good steak last year.

Yeah, it's pretty shocking being a deluxe resort and all. I guess they figure everyone can eat on the Boardwalk or surrounding resorts.
