The 1/35 scale AIRFIX Ferret

hi guys and girls this time we build the ferret mk2 from airfix
i decied to do this little kit as im awaiting some supplys to do a diorama for the churchill form last time.

Thank you, the base is just a old one that my kids damaged the model that was on it I’m currently waiting for bits to turn up in the post for it’s permanent base if your interested in the base it the one I made for the Achilles

Small point the inside of engine decks and hatches are olive green.

No. They should be as indicated on the instructions. I drove Ferret, and it was road legal.

To be fair the instructions say to paint them sliver like the head lights but I asked my dad who had 22 years working in them and he saw a miss match of orange lenses or clear lenses and orange bulbs. But hey go happy Christmas

Very nice build the base really sets if off well. Where did you get the figures from? I always like to add figures myself as they make things come alive. Happy Christmas!

So the figures are the ministry British afv crew set using just the driver’s upper body and the the commander’s upper body mated to the drivers legs the base is just the base from my Achilles build my son damaged the model so I’ve been using the base to take pictures with and happy Christmas to you as well
