It won’t be a replica he working with the tank museum as currently the turret is sat on the wrong hull and he has the right one ,he’s doing the hull and the tank museum are restoring the turret hopefully in time for tank fest this year

93eb20 isnt a chieftain reg number so it must be 03eb20,the real 03eb20 is still around

When I was modeling, I used a square cotton guaze pad to make camo netting. Pull out some of the strands and spray with glue/water mix. Worked great for my dioramas.
That’s pretty much what it is , just a tighter weave which seems to go better for the scale
I don't believe he really moves that quickly when model making. It's a little disingenuous.
Of course not its filmed on time lapse that challenger took over a month to build and paint
the arv version of this is such an amazing thing
If you mix acrylic paint with PVA and water, dunk your net in that, then plonk it straight on the model. You'll cut out a couple of steps, it will dry on the model, and set solid enough to dry brush.

That’s a great idea, I have some VP camo net but after that I’ll do it your way, do you add anything to it to simulate leaves? Modern camo nets have strips through it just wondered how to add that?
Yes green stuff world do leaf punches that’s what I used in my dug in chieftain vid I’ll have a look in to the strips as I’m not a huge fan of modern stuff bar British (ex Krh)
Please bring back scorpion light recon tanks for the protection of Britain. Upgrade armour and give a chain gun and gpmg and main gun

Thank you, the base is just a old one that my kids damaged the model that was on it I’m currently waiting for bits to turn up in the post for it’s permanent base if your interested in the base it the one I made for the Achilles

The netting is home made I’m going to take a break from what I’m working on and do a video covering the netting and tarpaulins etc and should be out by the end of the weekend but if you can’t wait it’s surgical gauze dipped in MIG track wash and left to dry

No. They should be as indicated on the instructions. I drove Ferret, and it was road legal.
To be fair the instructions say to paint them sliver like the head lights but I asked my dad who had 22 years working in them and he saw a miss match of orange lenses or clear lenses and orange bulbs. But hey go happy Christmas

So the figures are the ministry British afv crew set using just the driver’s upper body and the the commander’s upper body mated to the drivers legs the base is just the base from my Achilles build my son damaged the model so I’ve been using the base to take pictures with and happy Christmas to you as well

That panther is a rebox of the old Imperial series panther.
looks great! love all the mud and the stowage. the comet has got to be one of the best ww2 tanks sad it didnt get see much action. what kind of glue did you use to attach the camo netting and jerry cans to the tank?
Oh I can fully agree with that and the Jerry cans are held on with the same glue I built it with tamyia extra thin cement the boxes are super glue as they are resin and the netting is just normal pva glue
