Thanks for sharing your experience so far. I have a 2021 29trx and you are correct about people being interested in them. I have not made a stop without someone asking questions. I like you, did a lot of research before my purchase and feel like the attention to construction has been superior. Dealer support is phenomenal! I put my “sxsxsxs” LoL in mine and carry my kayaks and my MTB to explore. If your ever up in Washington I get around all of eastern Washington and northern Idaho and can share some great places to ride. Have fun enjoying this great land!
Thanks for sharing this. I've been looking at quite a few toy haulers and have found these to be the best choice. Going full time in a couple of years. Take care and safe travels.
Hey fellow ORV owner! We bought a 2022 21RBS to winter in. I love finding UA-camrs sharing their experiences of their ORV no matter the model. Absolutely love it but I think we’ll be upgrading in 2024 for the Blackstone as we are mid 60 & 70 year olds ready to throw in the in towel on home ownership. Retire part time & travel a lot more. I would never go to another manufacturer they are excellent! There’s a few dislikes but in comparison to the build stealth, those can’t really matter all that much. Good luck on your travels!
We are purchasing an ORV Trail Series 22TRX and have really appreciated your honest reviews. You are the second owner we know that damaged the ladder so it may be more common than expected. Being on the side and sticking up is asking for trouble. What did it cost to replace the ladder? Where did you get it? Thank you again for all the valuable and helpful information in your review videos. You reviews helped us in making our decision to purchase an OutdoorsRV.
Hi folks. I wouldn't consider the ladder placement a design flaw or blame the manufacturer. It's not the fault of design either. It was just me not paying attention to my surroundings. Having a spotter is alway helpful too. Ladder was direct from Topline, the manufacturer, ~350-375. I was close enough to avoid shipping and picked it up from will-call a couple weeks ago.
Thanks much for your earlier video and this one. They are both great. Glad to see it's holding up so well. I cant decide between this trailer or one of the Back Country series. Worried a little about the weight of this one. Otherwise it checks all the boxes. Videos like yours convince me that ORV is still the way to go!
It's holding up really well, considering the terrain, mileage, exposure to the elements. I've serviced the suspension 3 times, always check tires, I don't slam things around like I would in a house, keep the tanks clean, and just keep an eye on things. I don't believe it's luck that it's been holding up. Also, If you are going to tow anything between 6-8000 lbs,(unladen) You'll be doing yourself and everyone on the road a favor by going with a 3/4 ton truck. A fully laden 24 TRX is as far as I'd push my 3/4 ton truck. Anything over that, I'd upgrade to a 1 ton, SRW or DRW.
@@BRP_USA Thanks for the reply! I have an F250 (so 3/4) with tow package. Need to work out the exact tow weight but it will probably be right at max. I'd prefer to stay closer to 10K which is why I'm also looking at the Back Country. But man, I love the flexibility of yours with all that space in back AND the ramp/back porch is just awesome! Did yours come with railings and steps? Some of them do now but maybe it's the larger ones? I know a campsite where I could back the trailer right up to a river and fish from that porch!
@@tinamarieb49 Your F250 would be fine. My truck is also a 3/4 ton diesel. Using an equalizer hitch, and I did add a set of airbags. The trailer and the truck set level when hooked up and going down the road.
Thank you for a great vid! Question: have you noticed any issues with the roof edges and roof expanse itself? Concerned about the material being compromised by the elements and wind from the road.
The Happy Jack lift doesn't function that way. As I travel, the other bench and table are put into storage. Now using the lounger and 1 table and one bench.
Many RV parks/Resorts will have someone available to escort you and assist backing into or pulling through a spot. The reality of towing is that you have to constantly maintain your situational awareness and spatial cognition. If you have to stop and get out to check pivot points or distance just do it. Take your time. You will become more comfortable maneuvering and backing with time.Take your time.
Hi Sonya - have you looked at the 27TRX, and 24TRX? if so, what is size comparison ....in your minds eye (not the actual physical size). Like you, I'm worried about maneuvering out in the middle of nowhere and/or driving a beast where I am just mentally exhausted from driving it.
@@mrrey8937 I have not seen one in person but I've looked at every video I can find. I did put a deposit on one but unfortunately will have to cancel. I've not got the truck lined up yet.
When I do get my 29TRX I will most definitely be asking for help and staying in as many open spaces as I can. I've driven a 26ft truck with my car on a trailer across country so I have a fairly good idea of length.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! We are planning on buying a 29 TRX and I'm always excited to learn more about them!
Glad to help!

I'm not aware of any issues with the roof membrane. No leaks or bubbles, rips, tears. Looks to be holding up.
can you lower and raise just one couch at a time?
The Happy Jack lift doesn't function that way. As I travel, the other bench and table are put into storage. Now using the lounger and 1 table and one bench.
Nice rig and nice video.
Thanks Jeff
is that rear couch interchangeable from the left to the right hand side?
Yep. I've swapped it a couple times. It's relatively simple.
I'm looking into a 29TRX. I am concerned about maneuvering without a helper.
