    I just ran across your video. We retired and after two years of researching RV's and how they are manufactured, this is the one we settled on. We love ours and just took it on a very nice trip through California, Oregon, and Washington. These are solid and comfortable. Thanks for the walkthrough on your rig.

    I have the 24RLS. Yes these are in fact solid trailers for serious full time and moderate off road action. One of the most important ORV features is the Moryde Linked suspension and KYB Shocks. Yes folks, this trailer has shocks adding additional safety against side wind as well as handling very rough terrain. Mine is not a toy hauler and still has nearly one ton of cargo capacity. My Tundra pulls my trailer with ease and without violating its max capacity.

    Good to see you posting up again. I bought a 2020 ORV 21 TRX 6 months ago. It was like new from a dealer in Missoula. Unfortunately mine has issues. Mainly, the roof is full of bubbles. Big ones and small ones. I’ve reached out to ORV right before the new year when I noticed it, and Matt from the repair shop told me they couldn’t help. I was really surprised. After all of the great quality and integrity I’ve read about with ORV, they pretty much told me to disassemble the roof coping and pull back the roof, re-prep it, re-glue it, tension is all and re-assemble everything. Major project to say the least. Especially when you work full time. In other words, they told me good luck and take care, not our problem.…. I spent 55k on this rig and I expected more out of the quality of the build and also, the quality and integrity of ORV as a company. I don’t have a UA-cam channel and I don’t use social media like others who’ve had major roof issues, well past the warranty and were handled completely differently. I believe it’s based around the fact that they were completely exposed by the client and therefore, did the right thing and fixed their shotty roof installation. It’s a shame as I really like most all of the trailer and 90% of it has been positive. But with a discrepancy as serious as the whole roof system delaminating, I simply can’t stand behind my buy and say I’d do it again, or say I would give good remarks to ORV as a company in a whole.

      Yeah.
      Purchasing a pre-owned RV can be a slippery slope.
      I'm at the end of the manufacturers warranty.
      From here on out, I've resigned myself to the fact that it's on me to keep up with any issues that present themselves and I won't rely on the manufacturer beyond this point.
      Good news is - It's still a great product in the world of RVs.
      And, it's not an insurmountable problem. It is fixable.
      Check out this link. goneoutdoors.com/fix-roof-become-bubbled-top-6313966.html
      The bones of the trailer are no doubt more solid than the competition and it will remain a desirable product if you ever want to resell.

      Same here, mines been nothing but problems. Can't load anything in it the ramp is falling out of the fame. The ramp is to small for the frame! First time I used the santiflush it blew out the panel under bathroom sink. My front lift blows several fuses every time I use it. Definitely wouldn't buy another one. I've owned a lot of campers and never had near the problems as this one. Bought mine in Utah.

      @@matthewburden8193 glad to here I’m not the only one dissatisfied here, but sorry you’re having issues too Matt. Since I posted last, my kitchen floor is delaminating, max air fan in the bed area is toast (brand new fan, it has to do with ORV’s wiring job) and the air compressor is dead as well. It’s been really frustrating to say the least, and ORV won’t hear any of it. Apparently you have to have a big following on social media/UA-cam for them to care as they only worry about their name with those that are in the limelight exposing them for what they truly are….a mediocre build out at best. Buyers remorse is heavy. I worked my ass off for this trailer and it has let me down in so many ways. The roof has completely bubbled and delaminated so heavily at this point, it’s ridiculous. For such a premium price, I feel people need to know what they’re really getting into. Bottom line, ORV doesn’t stand behind they’re awful QA/QC. Period.

    I just reserved a 29TRX to be built in April which is when I plan to sell my house and retire. I will be carrying a 50" SXS, and dirt bike. I like that they have KYB shock absorbers, and 16 ply tires stock. A coworker got a 27 foot toy hauler, and it only has a 2,200lb capacity, meaning that it you fill the water, and fuel tank you will be overloaded if you put in a SXS. Lame! The same size TRX carries 5,000lbs.

If you were to install one, I’d put the blind in upside down- so if you don’t quite fully close it you can see who’s at the door without stooping down.

    Hello, thank you for the review. Seems a lot of people have roof issues. How is your roof holding up?

    • @BRP_USA
      @BRP_USA  8 місяців тому

      I haven't had any roof issues since new. I only went up there 3-4 time since purchase and only when when needed. Here's the thing, every time, you walk around on the roof membrane - be as tender as possible and don't twist your steps or pivot or stomp....go in your socks if possible of bare feet. Otherwise, the factory does a good job from what I see. You should call the factory and ask the service folks,,,they always answer and will give you good advice on maintaining the roof. If you buy a used one - make sure your do your due diligence and look at everything - ask questions.

    On your Bluetooth + CD player, etc. for about $40 you can get a usb DVD player, your TV will have an HDMI connector, and use your laptop to run them. Amazon’s will sell both, the Portable USB DVD/CD player and cable.
    On your toy lock system that you hardly use… sorry. I’ve lost several toys, bikes, motorcycles, and must politely object. I was once like you, assumed people were generally honest. People assume others are like them. I was naive. Had some bikes stolen while we were eating. We heard a truck drive by, didn’t think a thing, went outside and the bikes were gone. Motorcycle went in the middle of the night. Electric bikes a year later. LOCK THEM UP whenever you aren’t using them. Also, put cameras around, get the ones with night vision and enable it, not for the reason you might think. The battery operated ones like eufy have red lights that come on when they detect motion, the lights alone let them know they have been spotted. Good luck Sir!

      Too Bad about the theft. This can ruin a good experience fast. Bad location? Bad luck? Bad decision? Sound like you hang out in some rough areas.
      Military taught me something.
      Situational Awareness. This is what I practice, in everyday life, and when traveling and camping. 90% of the time I don't need to lock up. I'm definitely not naive, but I do know when to use common sense.
      Most of my sites are remote without heavy traffic, easy access to highways, large groups of folks partying, etc. If there is a chance of someone getting into my things, I either move on or lock things up, and make it difficult for them to get at it.
      I believe most folks are honest. I just don't let my guard down and don't make it easy for the 1% out there to steal my gear.

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor 2 роки тому

      @@BRP_USA - We like to dry camp, spend a few days away, then overnight at a campground. Most of the thefts happened when/where we wouldn’t have expected anything. In hindsight… national parks, areas like cripple creek and lake city in Colorado, where tourists from all over come. I’d add drill, be prepared all the time, to situational awareness. Get in the habit of being proactive, cables, automatic lights/cameras, assume some people are like sharks just cruising looking for an opportunity, an easy target. Not letting your guard down is key, diligence, know it’s when you are feeling safe and comfortable that it can happen. Now we put a few cameras around, some visible some hidden, just to be safe. Sadly the one time we called the police, showed them the video that clearly showed the individual stealing something from a neighbors campsite, they denied it to the police, his wife was like “he was with me all the time, he didn’t do nothing!” And even though the video showed them still wearing the same clothes, it was at 50’ away and you couldn’t positively identify the man’s face on the video. Sadly, it’s an imperfect world.

    Outdoors Rv has convinced peoppe that their campers are something special. Watch the detailed factory tours on here... They're built with the same exact concepts as all the junk coming out of Indiana. They're insulated a bit better... But they still use a junky rubber roof and glued walls. The roof will fail and the walls will eventually delam. The only units that will truly last a long time are molded fiberglass. These are nothing special, but their marketing has convinced people that they're somehow far superior when they're constructed basically using the exact same methods as everything else on the market. They are built a bit better but nothing like they're trying to make people believe. This is not a 20 or 30 year unit like a molded fiberglass rig.

      True. RV buying can be a slippery slope. Materials and processes span this industry.
      Don’t be convinced by the manufacturer’s marketing and the flash.
      Get out there and compare build quality and structural durability with the competition.

      Haven't noticed anyone running generators much after dark. Probably out of courtesy for neighbors.
      Even remote camping, don't really need it.
      I've only run the gen, briefly, during the days to operated the AC. Don't need it at night as the maxx air fans do a great job circulating the warm air out. That's all solar.
