This is really solid, I always like it more when there's a satisfying sound compared to a realistic sound. It should enhance the feeling first, reality second. In my opinion.
@@xPRODIGYxGAMER What is satisfying is an opinion, not a fact. You might think differently, but seeing the amount of likes I think a lot of people don't agree with you. But if you think real gun sounds are always superior that's a perfectly valid opinion, but it does not make everything else shit. They just sound shit to you, not to me.
Actually yeah this is how most Sound effects are made. For instance for bone cracking in Mortal Kombat it’s used from celery sticks and most sword sounds in FFVII Remake was done by hitting metal and scratching it too. Wild stuff.
I don't do the animations. For the revolver SFX I worked on a HalfLife 2 mod, and and our animator made the reload animation. For this animation, someone from the comments in the previous SFX video made it for me. Both of them don't have anything new for me, so I've been thinking of taking footage from games and replacing poorly designed SFX or just anything that would be cool to redo.
I tried doing exactly what you did for a game I tried making but I realized it's so much more work than buying a rifle replica for the sound. You can just google the sounds but I love the purity.

Gotta respect the creativity. I'd never see a measuring tape n think "damn, that kinda sounds like an AR reload"
