I have a really strange scenario. My crush used to be really friendly with me, and I asked her out in the summer. She said yes but said she couldn't do it atm, so she will let me know when she gets her schedule. And then... Nothing. I asked her for updates a few days later and she said she didn't get the schedule yet. So I felt like if she really wanted to meet me, she would try harder, so I understood the hint, and tried to stay away from her to not embarrass her or make her feel weird. But she would always come next to me or greet me, for example, if I walk with my friends in one direction and she would come across us in the opposite direction, she would say "Hi [my name]" even though we are all her friends. And all of that, even though I tried to stay away from her and was a little cold towards her. With the similar interests thing- Please don't force yourself to like what they like! I had a guy go to a Renaissance Faire with me (because that's what I like to do) and he had a terrible time! I kept telling him he could leave but he stayed because I was there. Like seriously, don't make yourself unhappy just for the sake of your crush possibly noticing you.

Ok so one day in class I was staring at my crush than he stared at me for like 2 seconds. I looked away so fast. Few seconds later he’s staring at me and when I look at him he looks away. We’ve talked before. He said good morning to me when he was passing me by the hall. And ofc I said good morning back.
I found him on insta yesterday and followed him. He followed me back today. My goal is to take a step forward and take it slow. Maybe say hi and be friends. And then I can do my confession.
