I love the 80s depiction of gangs and drugs 😂. They were always made by very sheltered people who got their understanding from even more out of touch media.
Sometimes movies couldn't quite decide what drugs were being depicted, and used a bunch of different names they'd heard on the news. It was always white powder, and the effect was indistinguisable from alcohol.
Gangers were always exactly like in this movie. A mishmash of contemporary fashion with punk paraphenelia. Oh, and punks were of course violent and scary!
