This isn't just One Piece exclusive, a select few series and anime do have great settings to explore. One immediate series that springs up is the world setting in A Song of Fire and Ice.
I can agree with both of those, but to me, one piece has created so many environments, people, locations, and other things that it is hard to compare with. Hxh is good for the few places that it shows, but it has yet to explore even a fraction of what is in one piece. You can say I'm riding, but look at naruto with all its villages and systems that we haven't seen much of if anything at all. Demon slayer doesn't show much other than small settlements/districts or wilderness, and mha shows the school, battle areas or cities about to be battle areas.

So the manga and anime are about 50-60 episodes apart, if they condense or expand certain parts could be more or less. The author claims we're in the final "saga" or group of arcs, we're probably within 4 years of the great mystery being solved, first in the manga and probably a year later in the anime. edited episode count

As much as we all love one piece and how much Oda does as well, he’s a human like the rest of us and has to find a conclusion in the future at some point (we don’t want another berserk situation). We’re in the final stretch of finding clues to the one piece anyways so it would be fitting to finish it in the next 3-5 arcs.

It's a lottery when it comes to living in One Piece verse. As most islands are getting invaded and ruled by a tyrant be it a government character or most likely pirates. Not only that constant wars and not to mention you can just get buster called. Plus sea beasts are mad creepy to be real if it isn't for the goofy design, the live action was enough proof.

A game with the majority of locations (islands) being original but then you can also visit the locations from the anime? And with 20 or so original characters that you can choose to invite to your crew. It sounds like a lot of work but it's not more work than an open world game with characters and lore built from scratch, so I don't know why these stupid ass companies don't invest in something like it.

Once upon a time my friends and I made a D10 One Piece pen-and-paper game using fibonacci numbers for various aspects of the rules and it was pretty much the best pen and paper game because it was built in the One Piece universe. The mechanics really didn't matter because the world was so good.
Never thought batman music would fit one piece this well, to be honest oda managed to build such a incredible living world that even naruto endings can make it hyped💀
It really is crazy how such a big world was created by a single guy. Like the Star Wars universe is huge, but it’s a culmination of so many different projects and writers. The only thing I can think of that’s similar to One Piece in that regard is Tolkien with the Lord of the Rings.
