Capitàno = Captain / Càpitano = things happen) So yeah... in Italian we read Na-ru-to and Sa-su-ke as the Japanese syllables indicates.

at the time Naruto and a lot of other classics were dubbed in german, the german voice actors didn't care about japanese pronunciations at all. Nowadays it has become a little bit better, but still pretty bad. There are some exceptions, were even if pronunciations were wrong, they were really good! Sword Art Online did a great job at dubbing, the main character put all his energy into his job. One Piece straight up changed a LOT of names, but the dub is one of the best anime dubs in german. (Luffy -> Ruffy (eng. pronunciation); Captain Kuro -> Captain Black (his butler name "Klahadore" was changed to "Beauregarde"); Roronoa Zoro -> Lorenor Zoro; Eneru -> Enel) So basically almost all japanese names were changed to either english or french names.

react to german anime openings, we have such a great variaton for every old anime that was running in our country
at the time Naruto and a lot of other classics were dubbed in german, the german voice actors didn't care about japanese pronunciations at all. Nowadays it has become a little bit better, but still pretty bad. There are some exceptions, were even if pronunciations were wrong, they were really good!
Sword Art Online did a great job at dubbing, the main character put all his energy into his job. One Piece straight up changed a LOT of names, but the dub is one of the best anime dubs in german. (Luffy -> Ruffy (eng. pronunciation); Captain Kuro -> Captain Black (his butler name "Klahadore" was changed to "Beauregarde"); Roronoa Zoro -> Lorenor Zoro; Eneru -> Enel) So basically almost all japanese names were changed to either english or french names.
