I think instead of pistons being quieter when the player walks away. Have pistons be waxed and they will be silent.

My idea was making them like noteblocks where the sound changes based on what they’re on top of, but I realised that won’t exactly work for pistons
You can wax signs of all things but not pistons where it would be actually useful.
I don’t know why I always get these videos as soon as they are uploaded but never anything else on time. Guess I really need to know Minecraft bedrock information.

for me it's the opposite, I am always recommended videos I'm not that interested in as soon as they are live but vids from ibxtoycat I get about 10 to 15 minutes after the go live

Stampy working at 4J Studios just makes me so happy. He obviously was never going to be able to work with Mojang because of how big they've gotten, but 4J makes so much sense for him ngl. It just makes me tear up cause I genuinely thought he had stopped being involved with Minecraft in general after he ended his long running Lovely World playthrough, but this makes me so much happier. Manic Mechanics was never really for me, but this new game sounds like it will be something crazy and fun.
My biggest gripe of the 15 year anniversary map is that it heavily focuses on recent history, a special tribute to the alpha versions, and mostly ignored the middle history
I agree. Things like the old villages, the old dragon fight, world generation, textures, and the nether reactor that were important chapters in the game's history.

They really need to make the piston sounds a dedicated slider so the people who want loud pistons can turn the slider up while those who want them quieter leave the slider at default.
To be fair, they can release the Java update whenever they like, thats likely why Java is still getting snapshots, because they can cram as many features as they want as close as they can to release date, it's Bedrock that has to go through certification by app stores.
If there were a texture pack to make everything look like old edition, menu screens and all, would you use it? The whole thing is so iconic for your channels

One good idea I have is that you should be able to attach animals on a lead to tripwire hooks. Then if the mob gut unleashed or the lead was broken it could emit a red stone signal, maybe changing depending on how much health the mob has or whether or not the lead was unhooked or broken. So excited for the next update, already subscribed. Cheers! 🎉🎉

Obviously they have there own personal goals, so it’s just up to mojang to get everything done right. And I’m happy 4J are finally confirming that they are going to have a new game. I also think that the 17th would have been a great time to tease any ideas they had for the next Minecraft related game.
Yeah like in 1.19 they added \place command to Java but not bedrock, aren’t both versions supposed to have same features in the new updates
The new 4J game seems to be entirely focusing on sandbox and not survival. I’m curious to see if they add any survival functionality because I think that their creative decisions on survival when working on console edition is where they shined the most. I’m really excited to see how this game turns out, and I hope they add multiplayer.

I'm so excited for 1.21 and I know you work hard on your videos. I can't wait for your next couple videos and am excited for you to find a trial chamber in your lets play world. I think Stampy in 4J studios will be cool and I think that the 11th or 7th probably will be when the update releases.
One thing you're missing is that while they "fixed" entities with passangers going through portals, they actually added the new entitiesWithPassengersCanUsePortals gamerule which defaults to false, so it's not that big of a parity issue

There's a bug on minecraft pe that freezes every few seconds for like a second or less and its really annoying
what device are you using to play it? If it's an older device then that might just mean it's not powerful enough to run the game properly. Reinstalling the game is also an option although I don't know what happens to save data then, you'll have to do your own research to see if the save data is deleted or not.

@@NadelllI have an apple Ipad, just bought it last year not to mention I killed all the mobs on my world to help with lag. Mojang please get on it.

The mobs through portals was implemented as a game rule on java that is set to false on default. This means that both bedrock and java will work the same but java will have the option to change the game rule and allow mobs in entities to go through portals
Better get them raid farms going on overdrive people, clocks almost done ticking!
I don't touch anything but my official world so I've yet to see any of this beta stuff, definitely excited to upgrade my farms' storage systems with crafters!

The sound change was bad, but the volume change would be great for pistons, if they would add more heads, people could make futuristic sounding piston doors...

I thought they woukd introduce at least a New wood type vor retexture azalea tree and put a new wood type in with minimal effort.
There was a Java snapshot today, but it was a b variant. So if next week is a pre-release, then that means the full update is just around the corner. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Nice to see they just made the piston quieter. I did not like the sound they changed it to before.
The most annoying bug in bedrock is one where when I die my things float and although some come down, I can't pick up all the stuff before it's forced to despawn.I play on console in case that's affects it.
They can fiddle with pistons but still can't fix the most painful bedrock bug for map makers, minable structure voids in survival.

Harrison needs to get it together. Redstone clocks are a mandatory if he wants to graduate with the rest of his class. I'll give him two weeks to write a 500 word essay on why redstone clocks, pulse extenders and pulse delay are important keys to saving humanity
So excited for what 4J has in store, an issue with Minecraft has always been rendering speeds and 4Js engine looks incredibly efficient, looks like optomisation and the best experience for players is still their highest priority which is an absolute win
Fixing the mobs through portals in carts will break all my automated charged creeper mob head farms hahah damn it 😂

The new vault sound effect only happens when you try using a key on a vault you already looted.
Midsummer eve is 21/6, after that Swedes will start going on holiday. To be able to fix show stopper builds I'm guessing they'll want to release at least a week before so my prediction is a release date of around 12/6.

You need a loom. 4 planks and 2 string if I remember right...
You can also find and make banner patterns for special banners to be made in the loom
You can also combine a banner with a shield to make your shield more decorative
You make banners in the crafting table, and can use a loom to customize them. However, the last time I made banners (earlier this week, in fact), the recipe didn't automatically appear in the crafting table, so I had to add the materials manually.
I could not find the recipe either, but went to the Wiki and it is 3wool - 3wool - and a stick under the 5th wool

are you gonna switch to java? There is a mod that turns java into legacy console, and in conjunction with that, the bedrockify mod will be good for adding those things you miss about bedrock

Entities riding entities entering portals is now an optional gamerule turned off by default on Java
You can't hear anything, becase you need to click the vault to hear the new sound
