man Aful stuff really impressed me with my first thing I bought from them - he magicone's are still just something special with how fast and cohesive they sound. The look and fit and finish of their products is just really impressive. I'm really tempted by the snowy, but considering that or the new brt5 revision, already having the BTR7.
Informative as always! I use the Moon River 2 on my Kato IEMs and I agree that DAC has too much power. The sudden near-hearing-loss with the phone in my pocket listening to jams and that button gets pressed accidentally... YIKES man hahaha - I'll hopefully pick up this Aful soon and be able to use it more uniformly across multiple platforms.
@ZReviews The track of silence that you are looking for exists. The "avant-garde" composer John Cage has a composition titled 4'33" that is 273 seconds of silence. I prefer the interpretation of Sony Classical recording artist and the pride of Tbilisi, Khatia Buniatshvili, from her 2020 album "Labyrinth".
if you want to take the DS Tungsten mobile then you will need the Centrance Ampersand amp... then for the source you can use the fiio BTR7 balanced output into the Centrance.... plenty of power and it sounds fantatic... and you get to use your XLR or 4.4mm balanced cable...
I'm pretty sure foobar doesn't do direct USB output on Android like UAPP or Fiio apps do. That's probably why it doesn't change the led color because it's always 48k (android resampling rate)
@@ZReviews I think you should try UAPP just to see if the difference from the resampling in Foobar to potentially bit perfect on the other apps actually makes an audible difference for you. Like what you had almost a year ago with IEM cables :) BTW this very much applies to the Symphonium Meteor that you didn't really like and I own and absolutely love (what you drive them with makes all the difference)
Hey Zeos been watching for a while. I was wondering if you have done a video on DAC or digital usb-C to SPDIF out devices. There is a huge gap in the car audio industry around hi-fi listening. If you had to choose one Dongle to end all dongles what would it be. I am starting to look at dongles and how useful they can be for connecting them up in a car. I would love to have a conversation with you around this. Lots of home audio and headphone stuff but car is zero.
You dream of an Arial Atom? I always knew, deep down, there is a hidden connection between me and you. Nice choice, light sportscars are like light headphones. Much less problems to cover up.
@@ZReviews I got to love it in pcars, there in particular it was nice to see that the not-high-power (non-supercharged) version were actually more fun to drive.
These look like you'll need to replace your phone's usb-c port in less than a year. I wish phone manufacturers didn't copy Apple in removing the headphone jack... :(
Audeze has been doing the DSP cable solution for years now... think of the isine 20.. without that cable tuning the headphones sound bad bad... with the cable they sound pretty good...
Anker 537 runs my Windows Laptop for 6 hours and 37 minutes without the Laptops Internal battery installed Runs my 5G Cable Modem well over 8 hours Great for emergencies If you really need the digital readout, try a ChargerLab Power-z Model C240 Gotta grab me another 537 while still on sale
Look, I am an American. You gotta chage YOUR thing if you want me to change my thing. Illinois is ILLY-NOISE until they get rid of that S at the end.. They can F'n sue me about it.
@@ZReviews that's exactly why I love watching your videos, you're always firing from the hip. Great response man. I'm definitely an Aful fanboy, I just find it funny they send their products out to multiple people for reviews and I've only ever heard one English speaking person actually get their name right. You're absolutely right though, at this point I'm surprised they didn't name their DAC Terryble.

Z are you going to review the btr15 ? Is it worth the upgrade?
They were thinking “Awe” Full, as in full of Awe.
😂

Most likely. Shame I like the player / brand so much. I hope they update it soonish.

I know this is off topic.

Would b interesting to see you review the fiio ka11 dongle dac with cirrus chip.
Would you rater use them or the MOONDROP DAWN for the Kato ?
Nothing quite like a good ol dong off!
¿Wich is smoother snowynight or yuki?

Thank Jeremy Clarkson.

I’m surprised you haven’t made DAC/AMP Showdown for Steam Deck. There’s like 0 videos on this out there
I mean its USBC.. just plug whatever into it.
What is up with the Qudelix-T71. Are you going to review them?
They usually reach out but looks like I gotta do it.
im between the snow night or fiio btr15 for the extra convenience of controls and bt
Maybe you can also consider the Qdelix 5K. Just an opinion.
Dicen que aful está a la par de KA5
Let's all compare dongs, Zeos - small but mighty, right ?
It's read as Ah-ful not Oh-ful.
could one of thise power small desktop speakers_? with some mods.
I mean they can feed signal. But not really designed for 8ohm loads.
@@ZReviews ok thx I just had an crazy idea

If you really need the digital readout, try a ChargerLab Power-z Model C240

Most charismatic audio reviewer on UA-cam, underlined by the fact that he's wearing Paisley print trews. Ooh, I say!
Dongz out 4 Harambe
Hasn't Aful impressed us enough to get their name right? It's pronounced "A Fu".
Look, I am an American. You gotta chage YOUR thing if you want me to change my thing.
