The Mushroom Kingdom was once a happy, vibrant place...
[Toads cheering and Peach having tea with Toadsworth]
Until trouble came knocking on the castle door.
[Bowser breaks down the door, scene change to an army of Koopas carrying a tied-up Peach]
Now it’s up to two unlikely hero brothers...
[Mario and Luigi are at home; Luigi is helping Mario fix a broken pipe. Scene change to Mario and other people of the Mushroom receiving a letter of summons from Toadsworth to find the heros who will save the kingdom]

[Peach cries while hanging onto the balcony of Bowser’s castle and her castle is seen in the distance]

I know I come here like a year and a bit now, but i just found this and I'd like to ask your thought process for making this if you can remember, cause I'm learning to do Trailer/Film scores myself (trying to get as much experience and knowledge as I can)
When I try to make trailer scores, first I start from a lick or hook(in this track, it comes from 0:23 with cellos). This kind of trailer scores also needs intense drums. And I altered the original Mario melody to adjust to the minor key. I hope this helps you a little.

0:03 - Shows Mushroom Kingdom from a far away distance.
0:07: Turns Black
0:09: Camera will be showing the Tables and the Stage of Freddy Fazbears Pizza. Freddy and Chica are on stage while Bonnie is between tables walking with his jaw open. He’s facing his right side
0:13: Turns Black
0:15: Woody (from Toy Story) will be walking forward. The only thing that the camera will see is woodys Legs.
0:19: Turns Black
0:20 (A big growl is in the background) Master Chief from Halo will be first looking down but then putting his head up slowly
0:23: Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach will be in front of Peach’s Castle. They will slowly look up. After they look up all of them will open they’re mouth and open they’re eyes slowly
0:26: The camera will slowly go up showing a portal. The Portal will be facing peach’s castle and will be in the air (portal is whirlpool in the workshop). The camera will zoom onto it. While doing that Dark Vader and Storm Troopers will be coming out. Dark Vader will be in front while Storm Troopers are all in a line on his left and right side
0:33: camera will be facing the ground and then will go up facing Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. They will be getting ready to fight. 0:36- different type of Dr. Robotniks will be in a group and they will be standing there moving they’re eyes while the real Dr. robotnik (that will be in front) will be crossing his hands and then smiling
0:39: GLITCHTRAP will be in front of the screen. A light will turn on out of nowhere in back of him. He then looks around and slender man will be walking towards him
0:46: Steve from Minecraft will be running away from a bunch of tattletails behind him. 0:49 (this part will be in slow motion) Steve will look by his side and then Spider Man Jumps on him.
0:52: Sans will be sending Glaster Blasters to Shrek and Patrick (from spongebob) 0:55: Blue Light will be coming out of Sans’s glaster blasters. Each Cut will turn black really quickly
0:56: Bowser will be running towards the camera very angrily
0:58: Cuphead will be punching Crash Bandicoot 2 times in the face but then the 3rd one Crash dodges
1:00: camera zooms in MegaMan shakes hands with RONALD McDonald. The camera then zooms out and then the two will look up watching SuperMan fly
1:02: Granny will be in back of valid. Baldi then gets scared and then Granny hits him in the head with a bat making him fall down to the floor
1:06: Peach will slap Wario in the face. Will go normal speed when peach moves her hand to slap wario. But after peach touches warios cheek it goes slow motion
1:09: These scenes will rapidly show different characters. Every scene is about 0.3 seconds (SCENES WILL HAVE TO GO WITH THE MUSIC BEATS)
Waluigi Will have his head down and then look up quickly
