Now THAT'S what I call a beaver dam removal!
No half-assed attempt that leaves a big hole in the middle of it, or one side still basically intact. You removed the whole damn thing! By hand!!! 💪💪 You did a better job of removing that dam than I've even seen cleared with an excavator.

You don't play when you remove a dam you remove the whole dam not half of it like others on UA-cam you put in major work really like your videos you complete every dam you remove keep the videos coming
Even when I hadn't made videos yet, I also removed the tapes in the same way :)
The reason that the other two sometimes keeps more branches on the sides, was explained. The beavers would rather build a new dam, then build up half. How they know that, ?

At the beginning of the video, is the water coming out of a beaver den in the bank? That's the first time I have seen that.
A local resident mentioned that many years ago there was a wooden watermill there, so it is possible there was a system of some water canals. But honestly, I can't tell where the water was coming from.
Damn those beevers

What was in/over the water please. It is a piece of beautiful country there, no wonder that you are a perfectionist in your work.

Take note friends... That is how you remove a Beaver dam ! Non of this cutting a foot wide channel through the middle and calling it done. Bravo Sir that was truly a lesson in Beaver dam removal!

No Monday Morning Quaterback here. Just a thought, work the edge's first while you have so much water pressure and power to help. Once the edges are gone the center WANTS to collapse. Water is a powerful tool in what you are doing. Good job to the 2 of you.

Great job taking down the beaver dam, but what is the reason for the man-made dam in the front? Was there something here before that needed water power?
Hi. A local resident told us that several decades ago there was a watermill there. But there is only as much of it as you can see in the recording, so it must have been a long time ago.

this was very well done taking down the level of the dam the said part was what without looking back same time you were built your own dam not making sure what you were throwing behind you was actually flowing away, and it didn't it just built up a layer behind you

the biggest one I've seen was 10 ft high. I could stand in front of it and there was a wall of mud, stones and branches. Amazing job.

as a person who has never even seen a beaver dam, i would love it if you could voice over a bit and tell why you are removing it and how beavers will handle that they get exposed. could you do that please?
Hello. In short, I am removing beaver dams, because that's my job, among other things. I do this on behalf of a government organization.
Beavers are doing great even when their dam is removed. We do not remove there for the winter period, because it could endanger them. Also, we do not remove beavers there, which are in places where they do not disturb people and do not destroy the retention channels.
In my episodes, I do not talk about my work, because I do not feel such a need and prefer such recordings without a narrator.
