      Moisture in the air that rises from the ground is usually called humidity. But rain also causes it primarily it’s when the air is heavy with moisture but isn’t fog or rain.

This dam was explosive, but not as explosive as the one from the other day, where it could have killed you, if you didn't step out of it. Hello Mantas. I was watching nature videos on beavers in Canada. The beavers float the 30 kg logs. Then drag them in place on the dam. Yes the beavers have sharp teeth and are very strong. Do not fall in the hole in front of the dam. That is where they get the mud. The mud is packed in front of the branches to prevent water leaking. There are many Beaver dam videos in competition with you. I Like your videos the best. You are doing a very good job.

    Water in the air = You are referring to Humidity. The beavers float the logs and sticks in the water. The green stuff in the water is algae. Algae are a diverse group of aquatic organisms that have the ability to conduct photosynthesis. I did see the Beaver. Thanks so much.

    You need trappers for the beevers, to relocate them in to areas where they are beneficial for water retention. Beevers are worth their weight in gold when they are in places they can flood and not cause damage to fields and roadways.

    • @occamraiser
      @occamraiser 11 місяців тому +5

      Presumably there are already beavers wherever there is suitable water for them. Which means that those in areas where they are not welcome have nowhere to be relocated to, and rather than putting them somewhere unsuitable they should probably simply be exterminated.

    Beavers are good, not bad. You can most likely find a solution that allows them to build their ponds AND do productive agriculture. More water gives you more opportunities. They moved in here about a year ago, and now i see many more deer tracks in the area, among many other positive changes. Rework your channels downstream, I would recommend. Open up the pipes if they are clogged with growth. There are more opportunities WITH beavers on the land than without.

      Beavers CAN be good. But sometimes they're destructive. We had a beaver family set up on our property, and their flooding destroyed the large meadow we'd kept for pollinators and migrating songbirds, now it's just a stinking bog that only snakes, mosquitos and frogs make use of. The birds are gone, the bugs are only swamp pests. But since the swamp they made doesn't encroach on our housed area, the beavers are protected and can't be removed.

      @@unpersonableme1805 i dont know a lot but i do know beavers are 1 of the few key species of this planet that hold key positions to our environment (and some others i remember would be bees and starfish, and i think elephants is also on that list). meaning if they go extinct it will have catastrophic consequences (like a jenga tower when certain pieces are removed).
      however i bet the guy in the video knows what he is doing (i hope at lest) and that its a place with overpopulation in beavers (due to predator decline)
