I’ve been playing spelunky for about 5 months, and I made it to the cosmic ocean a week ago for the first time. I just made it to 7-8 today and I can only have you to thank. Your videos have showed me it’s okay to make mistakes, and after hours of grinding to improve, I’ve unlocked every character, every shortcut, and reached every world ( minus eggplant ). I’m sure you’ll never see this but I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to be the best spelunker.
Man,the cosmic ocean really hates people. Hidden tiki men, crush traps perched precariously over the entrance, ufos that get bonked off screen aimed at the entrance, and so on and so on, and so on. But that incident with the bow killing you is why you never EVER purposely throw anything into the loop.
@@BillyONeal It's at 0:00. there was a tikiman with a boomerang hidden behind a foreground object to the point of being effectively imperceptible, killing twiggle from the fall. Then after he respawns, he gets hit by a witch doctor voodoo curse, I think? But there's no telegraph for it so it just feels like it happens out of nowhere, and the second fall second kills him
A witch doctor locked on with "voodoo doll" before he died (when a skull appeared above his head). The witch doctor then stabbed the effigy after ankh resurrection (didn't know it followed you after death!)
@@L337playing That is what hit him, was not hit by the attack before death. Guess the icon just didn't stay after, maybe was overlooked to put icon above after death
