That’s Boz Burrell on fretless bass. (Former member w/ King Crimson) Drop a needle anywhere on any BC album, and they don’t disappoint. How they’re not in the Hall of Fame is both an insult to Rock lovers and a crime. 👈
I am chuckling. I knew this would hit home for you two. Paul Rodgers is arguably the best vocalist in 70's rock and he still can do it all to this day! Thank you do much for checking this one, my favorite from Badco! Thank you for all you do!
My favorite Bad Co tune. You're right! an element of funkiness. Paul Rodgers always has Soul in his voice. He listens to blues..The ingredient of everything. You brothers are my favorite reaction channel now. full of surprises. Doing the songs nobody does. Give a listen to Blood Sweat and Tears version of God Bless the child. You'll dig it! Also there is a video out there that someone made for the song "What about me" by Quicksilver Messenger service. a montage of protests that show that song is still relevant today. Peace fellas
Paul Rodgers and Lou Graham of Foreigner are some of the best 70s era rock vocalists. They can bring on the goosebumps with their range and emotion they have.
Singer Paul Rodgers has an album of Muddy Waters song covers called Muddy Water Blues, where he has a collection of 11 guitarists playing lead guitar - Jeff Beck, Slash, David Gilmour, Gary Moore, Neal Schon, Buddy Guy, and more.
If you look at the lineup of band members in this band, it basically IS the English rock and roll halls of fame at the very least. Not everyone needs a participation trophy
The legendary lead vocals of Paul Rogers, first of FREE, the Bad Company followed with others including going on tour taking over for awhile with QUEEN after Freddie died.
Paul Rodgers' unmatched voice laid down to some of the BEST blues rock... Bad Company is so FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 SO MANY bangers in store for you guys. Btw, love y'all!!! 💕💕💕
Nothing like the straight ahead rock band. Pound out the rhythm. No glitz. No glamor. No grandiosity. Just lay it down. Bad Company is the quintessential straight ahead rock band. You would be doing well to go through their first 4 albums.
These guys have 40+ years of bangers! Y’all done tripped over a goldmine! This song and “Feel like makin love” were their big hits if I’m not mistaken but many many great cuts.. 👏🏾😊
I actually met the bass player in a little jazz club called Sydney's in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in the late '90's! It was a treat! Gone, Gone, Gone is one of my favorites by them! Would love to see you react to it. He said it was one of his favorites, also! I also saw Bad Company years ago. I have always been a huge fan of Paul Rogers' voice. It really doesn't get much better than this!
Agree! I have loved Paul Roger's voice from the first FREE song I ever heard. ❤ Cool you got to meet & talk with the bass player! A conversation I'm sure you won't forget✌🏼
Love me some Bad Company!! I was lucky enough to be teenager, in the '70's. Nothing today compares to Classic Rock...still gives me goosebumps. Most of it is Magical✨
Props to Simon Kirke to, for the funky syncopated double beat bass pedal to complement the funky bass riff. Free/Bad Co my all-time favourite bands. Another example of those ongoing across the Atlantic musical gifts that we keep on giving each other from Sam Cooke, Otis Redding et al to a white, blue-eyed soulful Paul Rogers from Sheffield.
BAD CO. was the 1st band signed to Zeppelin's Swan Song label... Their debut album is up there with the best of them...! I really like a couple of their slower jams, "The Way I Choose" and "Don't Let me Down"...! (Seagull is a given, and will be requested by many)
The Way I Choose is amazing but Seagull is a bit corny for my taste. When people talk about greatest "debut" albums, though? I feel like Bad Company is one that gets forgotten, unfortunately.
You guys should have been born in the early 60's, and grown up with me and my buddies! God Bless you both for bringing me back in time! We use to do reactions all the time! We did not have a camera, and youtube did not exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we would just burn one, and enjoy the music.
this is one of those songs that makes more sense after you experience what he's singing about for yourself. very dark things go through a man's mind when his woman is with another man.
These guys were my friends favorite band. Went to see them twice with him at the old Cap Center and they didn't disappoint. First time Paul Rodgers played piano almost the whole show and we loved it. My man passed away @ 36 and I can't hear these guys without thinking of him. RIP Al.
One of the best Rockin roll bands of all time This band has so many great songs Just a few to mention Weep No More,The way I Choose,Moving On,Gone Gone Gone and Good Loving Gone Bad But that is just a few of so many
One of my favorite Bad Company albums....this one, Morning Sun, Like Water, Passing Time, Every Man Needs a Woman...every one is reaction worthy, as is the entire album.
Got this song on a b-side 45, played the crap out of it, probably my favorite bad company song that wasn’t on the radio. Deep diving again gentlemen very nice. You are one of the best at this reaction business, seriously.
😄 I'm glad y'all picked that song. One of my favorites by this band. Of course I enjoy anything with Paul Rodgers on vocals. One of my favorite singers. He's got such a powerful smooth soulful voice. And of course the rest of the band members of Bad Company are as good as it gets. Someone mentioned doing their complete debut album. Y'all have listened to a couple from it, but the whole album is worth a listen.
I'm so happy to see you guys react to this. If you ask someone to name the best Bad Company song, chances are it won't be this one. Which is unfortunate, because this is the best one.
That whole album has this feel to it. And it was a beautiful album cover. When you opened it it had the most amazing picture on the inside! The sky was burning! I miss albums.
@Airplay, love your channel, and your honest reaction, especially when you react to music of my youth, like this Bad Co. classic...I was a teenager in the early 70's, so a lot of the music you react to, the "classic Rock" genre, is all the music I had on vinyl, or 8-track, cassette, somewhere, in the car, and in my room. Thanks for the respect and appreciation you show to this influential music...Rock ON brothers...Rock ON!!!
BadCo was one of those “supergroups” made up from giants from other bands, and in this case it delivered to the hype. I recall this music from back in the day, a smoke filled room, a group of surly looking guys..waiting for a delivery…it just fit the time…my favorite BadCo tune, your reaction was dead on as usual. Excellent work, guys!
Paul Rogers vocals/keys/ guitar Mick Ralphs lead guitar , Boz Burrell bass and Simon Kirk drums These guys were my go to band back in the day (yes more than Led Zep). Simon was a big drum influence on me before I started discovering Mr Bonham’s style Paul just has that soulful bluesy style I love so much ** Deep rabbit hole of great music
I listened to this album a lot as a fourteen year old. Not as well received as their previous albums but a slight departure also from the previous ones. But this album was really good and had at least 5 bangers on it. But this song you just played was one of their best songs period. Banger. Thanks guys and take care.
One of the most underrated bassist in rock, he's never mentioned in any talk of top classic rock bass players, what a shame because he's the most traditional of them all nothing super flashy just pure groove!!
I very distinctly remember this song playing a lot on the radio in the 70s. I was a tween & listened to the radio all the time & this is a powerful song that really captured the mood back then. I'll never get over how lucky we were to have so much great music.
I remember roller skating to this in the late 70’s in Reynoldsburg(Ohio) loving it and then eating crappy pizza . Thanks for doing these reactions that bring me back to when I was 14 ish and was just enjoying myself and being a kid growing up with great music all over
You can not go wrong with ANY Bad Co (or FREE ) song. I see a lot of great suggestions and hopefully you can react to ALL of them! BAD COMPANY "Gone, Gone, Gone" Is a banger with a little humor to it. ".... I don't If I'm happy, I don't know if I'm sad...."
My favorite bad co song Still have my original vinyl This album didn't have a lot of hits but it's probably their best musically and deep lyrically Definitely check out more from this album
My absolute favorite song by Bad Company. Just a killer track.. Sooo funky, and groovy. Glad y’all got to it! For a four piece band, their sound was always so massive. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 Best reaction channel out there. Impeccable musical taste, and your listeners know good music. Like me..😉 I HIGHLY recommend the tunes “Ready For Love”, “Running With The Pack”🎉, and/or “Bad Company”..
I had a Bad Co. t shirt in the 8th grade w the Mary Jane leaf on the front! Thank goodness my parents didn't know what it was ! Who remembers those Bad Co. T shirts ?? Iconic
Ronnie Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd) often noted that when Skynyrd made music they wanted to ensure the gutars melody and rhythym of the song was consistent through the whole song. His example was anything Free or Bad Company did.
That’s Boz Burrell on fretless bass. (Former member w/ King Crimson) Drop a needle anywhere on any BC album, and they don’t disappoint. How they’re not in the Hall of Fame is both an insult to Rock lovers and a crime. 👈
La and Che definitely need to explore King Crimson!!!
And Grand Funk too 🤷♂️
@@vrvaughn they have done The Pusher, and a few Grand Funk tunes. Search them up. La and Che are in my top three reaction channels
RandR hall of fame is a joke.
Meaningless gatekeepers setting a phony standard.
I've always been a fan of K I N G C R I M S O N!
We were so spoiled in the 70's. So many great bands to love. 😊❤

Freddie Mercury
But Paul is up there
Paul Rodgers is one of the best!
This band is consistently incredible
Saw them in concert sound just like their albums.
Their debut album is excellent and worth a deep dive.
That was the first album I bought with my own money!
One of my favorite BC songs. Paul Rodgers voice is so incredible.
Y’all gave that track the respect it so richly deserved👊
Yessir. This track is bangin'!
My favorite Bad Co tune. You're right! an element of funkiness. Paul Rodgers always has Soul in his voice. He listens to blues..The ingredient of everything. You brothers are my favorite reaction channel now. full of surprises. Doing the songs nobody does.

Yes!!! Quicksilver Messenger Service...have another hit!
Good suggestions
How about the band FREE.
Alright Now…
I’ve also listen to BE MY FRIEND on repeat
Love anything with Paul Rodgers. Rock Steady is pretty solid too
Paul Rodgers and Lou Graham of Foreigner are some of the best 70s era rock vocalists. They can bring on the goosebumps with their range and emotion they have.
IMHO Paul Rodgers , 1 of the purest voices in Rock and Roll history . Y'all did good .
Paul Rodgers , what a voice...
Most rock bands by the 70s were influenced by blues ,soul music and 50s rock & roll . That is why their music has so many elements of different genres
How they are not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is beyond me.
If you look at the lineup of band members in this band, it basically IS the English rock and roll halls of fame at the very least. Not everyone needs a participation trophy
Summer of '77? Burnin sky. Cat Scrath Fever and Rumours all released. Man our car was rockin!
The legendary lead vocals of Paul Rogers, first of FREE, the Bad Company followed with others including going on tour taking over for awhile with QUEEN after Freddie died.
You bro’s are hitting some fine 70’s classic rock today! Great selection!
Bad Co. Great name for a no nonsense rock band. "Silver, Blue And Gold" has always been a favorite of mine. Just a really good song.
A great song by a great band. The entire First record called Bad Company deserves a full review.
Bad Co. is 🔥. They have many many many...hit songs.
Gentlemen great choice. The bass line throughout the song was 🔥. This band has a catalogue of great songs.
Bad Company is just an all around amazing band. And man. Paul Rogers is called THE VOICE for a reason haha.
Great song. Their track "Bad Company" is probably their biggest, and for good reason. It really smokes.
Bass and drums drive this start to finish!
Paul Rodgers' unmatched voice laid down to some of the BEST blues rock...
Bad Company is so FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
SO MANY bangers in store for you guys.
Btw, love y'all!!! 💕💕💕
Thanks for rocking with us!!
They are called Bad Company, their first album was called Bad Company and the first song was called Bad Company. A supergroup for sure.
This band had great musical talent in every aspect 😮
This song catches the boys just straight showin off.
Nothing like the straight ahead rock band. Pound out the rhythm. No glitz. No glamor. No grandiosity. Just lay it down.
Bad Company is the quintessential straight ahead rock band. You would be doing well to go through their first 4 albums.
Bad Company is old school. Rodgers has the perfect blues rock voice.

Back in the day playing this, Having a drink and getting ready to go to a party
Mick Ralphs, one of my favorite guitarists. He had great tone...

Man, so glad you guys got to this one. So many auditory nuggets in this one.
One of very best bands of the 70's, and yes, they were epic!
Paul Rogers king of the ad lib. The things you say when there are no lyrics.. He also could record vocals in one take.
One of my FAVORITE Bad Co songs!! Sounds so low down and dirty....❤
They not only have bangers. They have ballads like Seagull and The way that I choose.
Bad Company has some good jams. Paul Rodgers voice is incredible and the band is great.
