BRICS Summit | Expansion of network: Prof Siphamandla Zondi

Government and the BRICS Business Council in South Africa have been hosting various discussions and engagements at Gallagher Estate as well as the BRICS Trade Fair. Tomorrow the BRICS Business Forum will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre and then the main BRICS Summit kicks off on Tuesday until Thursday. One of the hardest tasks for current BRICS members - Brazil, Russia, India, China and SA - will be to pick new members. At least 40 nations have expressed an interest in joining the bloc. Egypt told us earlier today they have formally applied. To discuss we're joined by the Acting Director of the Institute for Pan African Thought and Conversation at the University of Johannesburg, Prof Siphamandla Zondi.
