    My friend recommended this to me but could never find where to order it from till I finally found this video. Just placed my order for the one to include the Dream Station heated tube adaptor. Thank you.

    This is specifically NOT recommended by the FDA. Why would you be recommending it. Do you know there is a class action lawsuit against the company?

    Should water be removed from the water tank during cleaning?

      You can leave the water in, but it is recommended to clean out the water. Your CPAP will leave dust and other particles on top of the water. It is important to replace your filters often, especially on the DreamStation. The airflow opening after filter is about the size of an olive. If that filter gets clogged with pet air, that PAP unit will not work properly.

    I have the SoClean 2 and Dreamstation. My mask has magnets that snap in the harness and I was wondering if its safe to place these in the SoClean 2 Sanitizer.

      Magnets will not harm the SoClean and the SoClean will not harm the magnets

      No, we can set it up for you so you can use the SoClean connected to your DreamStation PAP directly.

    So no water needs to be in the reservoir?

    My 1st time using this machine. Do I leave water in the reservoir and do I leave my CPAP machine plugged in?

      I came here looking for the same answer. I found this on the SoClean website in an FAQ section. "If you have water in your reservoir, the tube needs to be submerged. In order to get the activated oxygen to clean the water. However, you can also run the SoClean without water in the reservoir." Found here: www.soclean.com/sleep-talk/documentation/soclean-faqs/

      You can but it is not recommended. I dump my water out every 2 nights and rinse it out. But clean it out once a week with vinegar/water mixture as instructed in manual.

    I have my Cpap connected to so clean machine. I now have a heated tube. I can’t get the injection fitting off my Cpap (black tube). That goes with the regular tubing. I watched your video and you say squeeze it and it will come off but I don’t have spots to squeeze like you do. There is nothing to squeeze. I really wan5 to use my heated hose. hELP

      Do not use! It will destroy your machine (foam) and possibly harm you. I know. I bought one and used it for several years. The foam in my DreamStation turned to a greasy mush. Some of it was totally missing. Check out UA-cam for more.

      If you have the heated tube, you use the same SoClean adapter.

      Yes, you can leave the SoClean connected all the time, even while using the CPAP.

    should I fill the water tank before the soclean starts its cycle

    • @localcpapcpapstore4086
      @localcpapcpapstore4086  6 років тому +4

      No. You should fill you water chamber with distilled water before using your CPAP device. The manufacturer says that you can leave the residual water in the humidifier tub, but since it is so easy to open the DreamStation humidifier tub within the chamber, I would empty the residual water after using the CPAP therapy.

      Local CPAP (CPAP is Store)

    When I use the CPAP do I detach the black tube connected to the adapter?

    • @localcpapcpapstore4086
      @localcpapcpapstore4086  5 років тому

      Keep the black tube connected to your CPAP. It has a one-way valve, that runs from the SoClean to your CPAP. The CPAP pressure will never go to the SoClean. If you remove the black tube water and air press ure from your CPAP will likely leak out.

      That was my question too. I have the Respironic Dream Station CPAP. And I just received my SpClean 2 a few days ago. I guess once you attach the adapter, I don’t have to remove it even while using the CPAP. Another question: Do I have to remove leftover water from the water reservoir prior to cleaning CPAP with SoClean?
