Never really got the difference between HSL and Calibration. Now I understand the power of playing with the calibraition ! Thank you for sharing your knowledges !!!
I've watched several videos on color grading is this by far the best one I have seen. You did such a great job, I love how you showed the color changes on the color wheels and then on the images, made everything so clear and relatable. Thank you for explaining all this and taking the time to put together such a great video!

Honestly the best lesson I've received from videos. Everything else just showed me how to use the HSL slides, but this explains when to use them and utilizing another editing category to grade the photos.
The one and only photographer who convince me that studying photography could be more complex then my medical study , yet you provide information in a great way
Ha way more. I read a lot. Whenever my medical friend talks about medical stuff I usually can add things she never realized. I wonder how much she could understand photography at my level

Hey Jamie, I just wanted to leave a comment to say that you are my favourite UA-camr hands down. Calling you just a UA-camr feels like a disservice somehow. Brilliant as usual. Even on a topic that for once I knew a bit about there were still some great new pointers, but what sets your videos apart is the connection to real-world fine art photography and knowledge of these concepts in practice, not in a vacuum or gear framework. Cheers
This is one of the best color tip videos I've seen. Clearly explained and answered without getting overly technical or abstract... and no blathering on and on about the obvious!
I can't say thank ypu enough for sharing your knowledge. The way you explain things really gets to the bottom of a concept instead of just explaining how to move sloders in Lightroom or whatever tool.
Best UA-cam channel because you concentrate on improving the creative process for us rather than the gear. Huge thank you. Taking me back to Art school. Please keep diving into subjects you find important.

Amazing how much one can learn with a good teacher. Thank you, Jamie. Always a pleasure to watch your thoughtful, informative, and beautifully crafted videos.
You can achieve what you are doing with the Calibration tool in lightroom, very well and with a far more control in CaptureOne by using the Color Editor + Skin Tone tool with its uniformity sliders. Many oversee the Skin Tone tool and think it's only a skin tone tool, but it can be used for any kind of color manipulation, then combine that with layers and the only limit is your imagination & creativity.
