I thought you were just going to console command it into space like most people. Nope, you committed to strapping enough rockets to it to flip off gravity and get it into orbit, and thus you have earned my respect.
That's impressive. Not only it looks gorgeous, but it's functional. I mean, the habitable spaces are really made of habitable modules, not fuel tanks pretending do be habitable spaces. I can clearly imagine kerbals walking (floating?) around inside it. And here I am spending days to launch little modules, one at a time, and docking them together in orbit, to achieve 1% of this. Sometimes I think I don't know how to play this game properly.
Thank you so much, to be fair I think when the game was designed it was supposed to be small modules like in the real world. I just like to push the boundaries of what is possible. I really appreciate you watching.
@@kerbalstarshipfactory5953 Yeah man! I just realized I forgot an s after Give (to make gives), so that sounded like I didn't know English lol. I've been wanting to make a 'Venture Star' SSTO to build part by part a big spinning orbital station or maybe tour the system esk ship. Normal I got for small stations in KSP because of lag and Kraken and I've also just been waiting for KSP2, that, that will be a lot of fun.
Contract: Build a space station around Kerbal that can generate power, has an antenna, has a docking port, and can support up to 5 kerbals. Kerbal Starship Factory: On it.
Very interesting, very Kerbal design. Especially the lifter system. I think electricity is going to be a problem tho. I would have worked a small reactor into it somewhere.
Thanks John, I really enjoyed this build and it has some eliments that I'm going to include in the next ship build. Stay tuned for that one, it's going to be really big!!
I always start from the middle with a probe core and build out from there. Like any rocket try to keep it symmetrical and always check your center of mass. I would also recommend placing struts yourself instead of using auto-strut. Auto-strut is great for smaller ships but when they get to a certain size it doesn't work well. When it comes to launching it remember to empty the fuel tanks otherwise you'll never reach orbit and practice asparagus staging because it's the only way to get large ships into orbit. Take care
Done and done my friend, I have also added both the Starship Valkyrie and the Starship Dauntless. I'd absolutely love to see you upload a video of you using them.
I took inspiration for this station from a cannel called Manic Panda, you can check them out here: ua-cam.com/channels/7WiuUUMZcPG6ADJYk6xC1w.html If you do please let them know I recommended them. Thanks for watching.
I'm in the process of moving my (I think) class C asteroid from a polar orbit to an equatorial one so I can make a refueling space hotel on it. But it's taking too long because ISRU takes too long.
@@djw7141 I forgot. But I think that's the one I depleted completely, so I deorboted it. Yeah, I've only ever used ISRU once on an asteroid and that's what I did with it

Not exactly, I used the SPH because of the size of what I was building. Sometimes the perspective you get in the VAB can make it difficult, you'll see that to the extreme in my next video.
Watching the equivalent of an entire Saturn 5 get discarded on the ascent is always funny
LOL, you should see what happens in the next video!!!

Very cool station! Give me Earth Space Dock vibes from Star Trek with the empty internals! This has inspired me!

Incredible work mate, I'm happy that my version fueled your imagination :) very very well done

that would kill my pc, but it looks amazing!

I played more than 4 years of ksp and I rearly saw space stations this goergous good job :D

I love how he almost made the symbols of peace right there.

Rather perceptive of you there... HANZ

That's a space port right there
This is awesome ! the design reminds me of Tycho station from the expanse

Stellar job.
Wonder how many kraken drives you would need to fly the saucer segment
You can download the craft file from my KerbalX, why not give it a try? I'd love to see a video of it!!
great build man!
Incredible 👏 👏

Once you've got a STAR BASE you can build a GALAXY CLASS STARSHIP in orbit!
Are you in the SPH this time because during our collab you saw my video and I had said I get a better camera in the SPH?
